“As of writing this review, I'm a Year 12 student who's been in the school for almost six years, and I'm taking A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Computer Science and French. Thus, I feel I'm more experienced than most other reviewers to talk about the school. Firstly, let me say that this is no grammar or private school. Not everyone's parents have hundreds of thousands of pounds to send their children, and not everyone finds irrational joy in studying eight hours a day every day after school. Most people are just your average person, but for me, that's perfect. You'll get to know most of the people in your year, and perhaps in the years above and below you, too. Friendship groups form quickly and easily, and many are happy to accept other students. In the older years (Year 10 onwards), people start to socialise with others outside their friendship group, and I enjoy the social scene here. In my case, being able to talk to extremely talented people is an opportunity I wouldn't exchange for anything: I've grown attached to my friends as though they were family. And, while not everyone here is a four A*-type student, we certainly get those types: every year, we have students who get all A*s and go off to Oxford or Cambridge. If you aspire to be one of those students, don't write off Claremont just because you think you'll do better by going to another school! The teachers are also incredibly polite, for the most part. (Of course, there are teachers who the younger students would consider strict, but as you grow older, you'll see that it's just the different teaching personalities they adopt, and in reality, they aren't really that strict after all—your class were just really annoying!) They devote plenty of time and effort into ensuring every student succeeds academically and as a person. Their lessons are usually very well-planned, but their devotion to their students truly shines when one of them asks for help or discusses a topic with a teacher that they're both passionate about. This is especially helpful in the Sixth Form, where you'll often find yourself wanting to stimulate your own interest in the subject! Every week, we also hold competitions and clubs for all lower years, from sports to chess; we also have a few more unorthodox ones such as a cybersecurity/hacking club. The extracurricular scene is a bit lacking for the Sixth Form, though, but since you're allowed to leave when you don't have lessons, you probably won't need it. We have an active student body which includes a Prefect Team and a Student Voice, both of which allow students to suggest changes to improve the school. And while Claremont is by no means perfect, I thoroughly enjoy my time here, and I could not imagine having a better experience at any other school.”

“I lived here 2022-2023. I can’t fault the landlord (CanadaIsrael) or the amazing Reception, Bar and Maintenance teams onsite. Very nice, comfortable apartments that made the area feel safe. Working AC and I recieved my deposit back in full. Any issues were always rectified swiftly even whilst under pressure from dirty tenants making a mess of communal spaces. I came to leave this review after seeing / laughing at the unfair negative comments made whilst showing my friends my old flat. I’d highly recommend WEM tower.”

“Wonderful nursery, staff are very patient caring and above all take feedback extremely well. They listen to any concerns you may have and are happy to do whatever they can to help your child and you have the best possible experience with them. They have an extremely flexible attitude and are beyond accommodating to ensure parents are happy with how their child is being cared for. Their primary focus is the child and honestly I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our daughter has just started and although she took a while to settle the process was fully child led and inturn our daughter has settled extremely well. Communication from the staff is fantastic always kept up to date on how our girl is doing. Very grateful for such an accommodating and supportive nursery. They put together lots of scheduled activities for the children regularly to enhance their learning in a safe and fun environment.”

“The Appletree team nurtured and moulded our little girl from the age of 1 until she was ready to begin school. From the day she joined we noticed her development going from strength to strength and soon noticed improvements in her vocabulary and motor skills. Our daughter created a bond with the staff which was nurtured as she progressed through baby room into toddler room where the team helped her with her independence. The Appletree setting has a real homely feel whilst maintaining a professional approach which gave my wife and I reassurance in knowing our little girl was safe and well cared for. Thank you to the whole Appletree team for taking such great care of our daughter we know she is the growing into wonderful young lady in no small part thanks to you.”

She has a great way of engaging the kids, making learning enjoyable. The only area that could use some improvement is the administrative side of things, but overall, she is incredibly talented, and the children love her classes.”

“I am extremely pleased with Stag Lane infant school; my children are always happy to be at school & the overall environment is fantastic. Absolutely wonderful teachers/staff and very structured classes. They have an amazing nursery; with the most hard working staff! The learning begins with the basics at nursery & continues in the years to follow. Totally recommend the infant and nursery school!”

“Started Belmont in nursery and finished year 6 2013 , looking back now i miss Belmont more than anything. Year 11 is full of nerves and everyone understands how amazing primary school was now. Miss old friends I wish Belmont did a thing where they called back all the students for a day.”

The staff are also highly trained and I would like to thank them all for their hard and dedicated work. My child stayed at helix for 6 months and was able to completely change his attitude. “I sat my accounting exams over the last 3 years at The International School of Sikh Studies via Pearson Vue, it has been the best place I personally found to take my exams. I have now completed my exams and Jaya and Suha have been absolutely fantastic any problems I encountered they helped immediately, they were kind and they got I seated comfortably ready for us to take our exams. They ensured there was no distraction and just wanted to thank them and the team here for being great over the last few years. Thank you!”

“If people are going to leave a 1 star rate for this School suggesting it is sub standard, then at least have the guts to put why you feel this is the case! Just leaving a 1 star rating is pathetic.
