“Fantastic experience at Pizza Express! The food was fresh, tasty, and exactly what you expect from a great pizza place. The bases were perfectly crisp, toppings generous, and everything came out piping hot. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we walked in. “Ordered twice now, both times have been extremely delicious. The chicken strips and wings are amazing, you can taste that they are grilled and have a tasty piri piri sauce. The pizza, wow, I couldn't stop eating it. I prefer this pizza over some of the large brand companies! I also like how the toppings don't dictate how much the pizza costs. All in all, I am very pleased and satisfied and hope to be ordering for many more times to come.”

“My husband and I had been to this restaurant a few years ago for our wedding anniversary which was unfortunately cut short as our youngest son had an incident at school (he's SEN) and we hadn't really thought about it again until today. I had booked a table at a Mexican restaurant in Bexleyheath for my birthday and made them aware it was my birthday. I had turned up at the booked time to be told they had a private function and unceremoniously turned away with zero apology or acknowledgement of the trauma they had caused me! I was absolutely devastated but I saw the sign for Il Vesuvio and some new hope burned in me. Whilst the restaurant was fully booked the staff so kindly found us a table we could have for just under two hours and they treated us like royalty! We enjoyed starters and mains from the main and specials menu (we would have had pudding but we were full!) nothing was too much trouble and everything was gorgeous! I enjoyed whitebait and octopus, whilst my family enjoyed vongole, carbonara and calamari. Everything was piping hot, fresh and delicious and they even gave us some complimentary limoncello! I can't believe I had all but forgotten this absolute gem! Thank you for taking my day from despair to joy and I heartily encourage everyone to come to this amazing venue! Thank you so much for making my birthday so special!”
