βFantastic institution for study verity of courses. Staff really helpful towards students.β
βOur daughter (now in year 8) has been at Edge Grove since year 6 having spent all her previous schooling in the French system. We joined the school at a time when the new headmaster, Me Evans, was still putting in place his vision, but we felt that he knew exactly what he was wanting to do, and we completely bought into that vision. We have not been disappointed. The pastoral care has been first rate, particularly helping our daughter in the transition to a British Independent school. From what we have seen, any pastoral issues are dealt with speedily and sensitively. Great emphasis is put on politeness and creating the right environment for learning, whilst enjoying everything that the school has to offer. The education curriculum is innovative, supportive and stretching, and the school is doing a fantastic job of supporting all year 8 pupils in preparation for CE, truly differentiating based on the schools they are applying to and the exams they will be taking. Extra-curriculum activities are great too - the Director of Music is fantastic and the improvement in the quality of all school music activities has been marked, while the head of girls' games is really raising the bar too. Staff go beyond what one might expect and respond rapidly and helpfully to any questions or concerns. The parent community is friendly and welcoming. The school certainly deserves its recent rating of Excellent in all regards from the Independent Schools Inspection. I highly recommend the school to any prospective parent.β

βOne of the best colleges in the country - exam results are always very good. Whole college community is supportive of one another. Teachers help each student to thrive and exceed their potential. Lots of extra curricular activities and trips on offer that allow students to broaden their horizons and receive extra experience which helps with life after leaving St. Dominic's. College grounds are beautiful - garden is the perfect area to reflect and take some time out, as well as the Chapel.β

βSuperb seat of learning or it was in the 1940s once returned from war time evacuation. Unfortunately some masters returning from fighting in the desert etc. as artillery officers were a trifle shall we say 'Unusual,. I don't know why I am writing this at the age of 83 but I still have fond memories. The ethos of the place served me well throughout my long life.β

βI go to this school, it is a brilliant school and amazing for teaching young girls. First of all the people that are saying that their 'son' used to go to this school is lying. Bhs is a gdst school which means girls day school trust. This means it is a school for girls. Secondly, the people saying that this school was or is getting shut down are lying. The senior school is getting rebuilt in some areas and should be finished by this year.β
