“Always a winner for service and smiles! ​Seriously, what makes this place so great? It's the staff, every single time. In all the years I've been coming to Wagamama Media City, the team has been absolutely amazing. It's often a bit quieter than it should be, but honestly, the customer service is bang on—they are so attentive and welcoming! ​I went with a classic this time: one of their donburi rice dishes, a side of gyoza, and a few extra chilies to spice things up, and I was sorted! Plenty of smiles all round, and they've genuinely never let me down. Highly recommend a visit! ​I hope they see it and feel the love!”

“Tattu Manchester is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food was absolutely delicious — the highlight for me was the sea bass fillet steamed, which was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, creating a great atmosphere for dining. Prices are a bit on the high side, but definitely worth it for the quality of the food, the stunning interior, and the attentive service. I would definitely come back here next time I’m in Manchester.”

“A trip down memory lane to a beautiful spring day following a beautiful Bachata workshop hosted by factory international based in Manchester; led to an impromptu dinner at Suki Suki- famously known for their ramen! Lucky to be sat upstairs without a reservation, the interior of the restaurant carries a beautiful intimacy perfect for an escape from the bustle and hustle of the streets of deansgate. Opting to try other menu options, our table order included(from left to right): Yaki Udon with pork as the protein of choice 10/10- perfectly cooked with the right amount of spice and the pork was just perfect. Bang bang chicken served with the egg noodle was delightful, with the sweet and spicy blended and perfectly balanced. 10/10 Served with salt and pepper chips which you cannot go wrong with!also 10/10 The food was delicious, definitely a welcomed surprise as my sister and I were absolutely famished. The portions were large and perfect for sharing. Whether you are a solo diner, table for 2/4/6, it is modelled to accommodate any group size. Now, I would advise to book in advance if you want to be seated upstairs, the intimacy it offers is worth it. Will I be coming back to try more on the menu? Yes yes and yes! I appreciated how fast the service was considering it was a full room, the staff were very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed! I haven’t got the receipt this time, but the prices for the quality served 100% worth it and cost about £37.29- this includes a glass of white wine. Also if you are like us and end up being full with some food left on your plate, don’t be shy to ask the staff for takeout! Enjoy.”

“We visited Australasia for our anniversary and had the most incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is stunning—chic, warm, and intimate—perfect for a special occasion. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour, and the mocktails were just as creative and delicious. What really made the evening unforgettable was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our night special. They even surprised us with a gorgeous “Happy Anniversary” dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. Australasia exceeded all our expectations, and I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone looking for exceptional food, amazing service, and a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Great food, polite staff, always able to find you a spot.....fresh produce....adds up to an excellent dining experience! Revisited in April 2022, the updated menu just keeps on getting better, plenty of plant based options if you have non-meat eaters in your party. “Had afternoon tea at the Midland. Booked as a Christmas treat by my daughter. Both the exterior and interior are beautiful. Christmas decorations were fantastic. Afternoon tea was lovely. “I came here after receiving a discount code. The food quality and speed of service were phenomenal! The location is a bit out the way from the highstreet but worth the journey. The staff were wonderful, the seating and decor was great and modern with usb sockets and clips for dog leads. All on the ground floor so easily accessible for differently able people. Even without the discount code the food was very reasonably priced and great portion sizes.”

“Best food I had in MY LIFE - I don't understand the ooga booga about the service because my friends and I had a pleasant lunch there. Shoutout to the lady who served us (I believe her name is Brita), she was extremely welcoming and provided excellent suggestions for our first meal. We had the Baked Portuguese Chicken with Rice, Baked Pork Chop with Rice in Tomato Sauce, Fried Vermicelli with Satay Beef and the iconic French Toast. All 3 proteins were cooked to perfection. I was extremely fortunate to have an ultimate dining experience and finally understanding the expression of ‘food melting in my mouth’. At one point, we took a pause from eating as we felt that we were unworthy of savouring such delicacies. We will return for more. Considering its location, it is definitely a hidden gem in Manchester, if not the United Kingdom!”

“My absolute go to Chinese in the area. The portions are very well sized for the money and most dishes come with the rice or chips included. The food is always very hot and well presented. The fire chow mein and seaweed is our favourite! Definitely recommend as the best Chinese in the area, and we love supporting local.”

“Been enjoying roast meats all over Asia for the past 40 years. My first time at Park View ordering 3 meats and rice was spectacular, l portions were double than l would normally get from Manchester. The flavour of meats was better than expected they did not disappoint, l would not hesitate in recommending there restaurant.(l,ll be back)”

“It’s pricier than places like itsu for sushi but it’s loads better. Best meal is the chicken curry, they heat it for you and it’s the best meal you can buy for lunch within a 15 minute walk of my office. Costs about £8 but would work great as a dinner if you wanted it. Service can be a bit slow, blunt and disorganised but I bet staff are rushed off their feet. Don’t know why people don’t shout about Nudo more.”

“I ordered here via Deliveroo last week, had egg fried rice, kimchi pancake and salt and pepper chicken. The food was amazing and I didn’t notice or watch how long it would take to deliver but it felt like it was delivered in good time. The driver from the restaurant brought it right to my door (unlike other Deliveroo drivers who will make you come down) I loved the food so much I added it on my list of places to eat back at and did a google search which is where I saw the poor reviews on here. I’m surprised to see some of them as I had a pleasant experience - I would say to give it a chance.”

“Our go-to Chinese takeaway in Pendlebury. Never had an issue with this place. We've been using it for 7+ years. Sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice, salt and pepper chips, veggie spring rolls. All standard, and very tasty. Almost always piping hot, occasionally warm but that's to be expected sometimes when you get it delivered. It's never cold. Though. Super cheap. Easy to order via telephone. Drivers always arrive with a smile.”

“I think the rating of this restaurant on Google is absurd, and reaffirms that people only ever leave bad reviews. Our experience with this Chinese is pretty consistently 9/10. Portion sizes - Brilliant. Food Freshness/Taste - Brilliant. Service - Brilliant. Overall value - Great. The Salt & Pepper chefs box, chow mein, chicken satay, special curry and chicken wing menu items never let us down . We have tried other Chinese restaurants in the area and always find ourselves quickly regretting not ordering from here at No. 1.”
