The prices were amazing, the taste was incredible (we had 2 Dim Sum platters, a chow mein and a special fried rice, all for just £26.60) So excited to have a new fave takeaway!”

“Went as a couple to celebrate a birthday, easy to book online with SMS confirmation and a reminder. Seated to within a few minutes if arriving. We were placed to the back where it's a larger open plan room and were sat next to a large group, also celebrating with noisy (well behaved just noisy) children and where the cutlery station is. As I had a headache, I asked if we could be moved to a table near the front and the gentlemen kindly moved us to a quiet "nook". Think he was the manager, really appreciated this. We were served by William; friendly, knowledgeable and funny. Checked on whether we wanted additional drinks and gravy, and timed it when we didn't have food in our mouths :) We had the Sunday sharer, hats off to Alex the grill chef. Food was hot, portions are decent. 2 big fluffy Yorkshires and the meat was cooked just as ordered, not fatty and very juicy. Would recommend.”

“This is one of the best pubs I’ve been to in years. The food was amazing (I had the chicken kebab on a tortilla wrap with salad and shared salt and pepper topped fries). Brilliant prices for food, the staff were brilliant and very attentive. The decor of the place is spot on and the seating very comfortable.”

“This is a fantastic Chinese takeaway, I’ve tried near enough all the popular Chinese takeaways in Stockport, but this one is the best by far. Friendly staff, massive portions and authentic flavours. I highly recommend them and I’ll be going there whenever I want my favourite Chinese dishes. Five stars isn’t enough as far as I’m concerned.”

“Great pub. Great live entertainment every Friday and Saturday nights. Made this our local about 6 months ago and nowhere comes anywhere near to matching the friendliness of the staff and other locals. Fantastic atmosphere and a proper pub. Never have to wait long to be served, even when the place is rammed. Our nights out are always made more enjoyable, and our thirsts suitably quenched, by the fabulous Francesca and the rest of the friendly, amazing and eager bar staff.”

“Love this place!!! The landlord is a delightful Arsenal fanatic who loves his footy. The pubs cheese board is legendary and the condiments are top notch!! Bar games are encouraged and there is a vigorous card school with local rascally characters engaging in fierce banter which is a joy to watch. All in all the Comfy experience is a sight to behold and a life experience that must not be missed.”

“ive been there yesterday with my family. everything was fine, we waited for our food like 15 minutes, and it was soo yummy!! we all ordered vege burgers and fries and it was sooo good i highly recommend this place! Also this restaurant inside is GORGEOUS!! it has unique atmosphere, it kinda looks like antique shop, but in a great way- everything is clean and it brings so much joy to just look around the restaurant and notice all the little details as porcelain figurines, small paintings and much more. The waiter was also really nice- he told us story of this place and how he takes care of all the trinkets here, how much time it takes for him to clean them and that every little thing there has its own story!! I definetly will go there again, love this place atomos xx”

“Hands down the best chippy in Manchester, been going here since I was a kid and still go there now, all of my friends also love this chippy and will travel 20-30 minutes by car just to come here because of how good it is. The staff are so lovely and chatty and it’s always an amazing vibe when you walk in.”
