“Extremely satisfied with this place! Family-run business, so you know they really take care of the place and the quality of their food. I got the option that lets you try 3 dishes in one meal, as well as their beef and vegetable momos. I highly recommend the broccoli stir fry! Serving was generous and I had to take home some of the food I wasn't able to finish. Not disappointed at all and would definitely go back if I get a chance.”

“Food was SO good. Came with a friend, we were both craving Ethiopian, got the spicy doro wat and the mild lamb, and both were incredible. We practically licked the plates clean. The injera was clearly fresh and wonderfully spongy, lamb was very tender and doro wat is one of the best I’ve had outside Ethiopia. Food is reasonably priced, portions are generous, the decor is homely and our waiters were super friendly, will definitely drop by again next time!! :)”

“From the starters to the main dish, everything was absolutely perfect! The rib eye was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and full of flavour. Every bite was delicious, and the sides complemented the meal beautifully. The service was excellent too , Ihtsham, who served us, was an amazing host, friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Had an amazing time at Hawksmoor Manchester. The team’s hospitality was spot-on — friendly, genuine, and made us feel really well looked after. Started the evening with a few cocktails at the bar, which were fantastic. The steak was the real highlight — perfectly cooked medium rare, juicy, and full of flavour. Honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long while, and I’ve been to quite a few steakhouses! Lovely ambience too — perfect for a relaxed date night.”

“We went on Saturday 20th Sept despite the terrible weather. Table for four. The food was amazing as always, great choice starters and mains. I often skip lunch when going here to enjoy the duck and pancakes, as well as a main never disappoints. Fillet steak Cantonese is always a good choice. Great service and kindness . They have added an internal porch to reduce drafts for the winter . Very well tested last night in the weather. Enjoyed the evening thank you”

“I just celebrated my birthday and book release ("Sun-Kissed and Sidetracked") here, and I couldn’t be happier! The service was top-notch; the team greeted me warmly and made me feel really special. The food and drinks were delicious, and everything came out super fast. A lovely complementary dessert plate made my day. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone wanting a memorable meal! “Was recommended this place by a work colleague and a group of 9 of us went. Parking can is available outside with plenty on side streets. Nice friendly vibes and smells emanating inside were delightful. We decided to book a room (can seat around 12 people I reckon and maybe more) and only negative criticism was that we did have to ask on several occasions for place to be cleaned up. This place can get busy. Complimentary soap was the perfect start and a nice touch. Ordered the lamb Zumbina and it was delightful. The meat was succulent and the flavours really lovely. The food arrived very quick and even partook in the chicken brost which I highly recommend. Only item I didn’t enjoy was the fasha and it’s a very distinguished taste. Not for me anyway. Card payments accepted and friendly service. Toilet (only 1) which has a bidet and was clean. Could do with another ideally and washroom facilities also available. A place I enjoyed visiting and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending and returning.”

“The burgers are on point, 7 of us got burger meal, wings and a wrap meal. We spent around £45. Everything was on point, the burger was succulent and the flavour was just perfect, the fries were perfectly seasoned and they just hit the spot. We drove 3 hours just to have these burgers. Definitely worth a try.”

“Amazing food and a relaxed atmosphere. Food is good quality and reasonably priced around £15-25 per person. The loona rice was my absolute favourite... highly recommend it. I have been with my family and then again with my friends for a chilled evening. The owner was lovely and attentive and ensured we were were well looked after. Great authentic lebanese restaurant.”

“We starting queuing before opening time, restaurant opened at 12pm got seated quickly. All seatings got filled up quick, fairly busy place. We ordered dim sums, rice dish and a noodle dish. 3 for £12 dim sum offer not bad. Also refillable, unlimited pot of Chinese tea. Delicious and piping hot food”

“This is the best curry takeaway I've ever had, it's so good I've decided to make SK Spice my new regular curry house. Only improvement would be if they added a tofu option on some curries, but every vegetable curry we ordered was fantastic. Do yourself a favour and order an SK Spice tonight, don't delay!”

“I've eaten a lot of Chinese takeaway in my 25 years, across several continents, some good, some terrible, some of questionable meat source. However, I can whole heartedly say that I have NEVER enjoyed a plate of food MORE than I did after ordering from here. Crispy beef with chilli sauce - not too spicy, salty or sweet, solid serving 10/10 Special fried rice - balanced, meaty and with full size perfectly cooked prawns 10/10 Salt and pepper chips - sensational 10/10 Chicken and sweetcorn soup - to die for 10/10 Delivery time - beat the just eat time by 15 minutes 10/10. Not only do I recommend this take away, I don't think I'll ever eat anywhere else. Thank you China delight!”

“Well what can I say about these two little old love birds eh? This couple have had this Chinese for what must be 40 year at least. I remember when the counter was on your left as you walked in and the pair of them don't seam to have changed a bit! He does good salt n pepper spare ribs and if you ask the old fella for something specific he'll give you his version. She's never been the best at English so for best results ask for the captain and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I like a portion of dabs there. They're not to big and not to small and are a real treat. Hopefully this place will live on but I've never seen them with children? If this little Chinese relic ever comes to a close it will be the end of a oriental era. God bless them both.”

“I didn’t have high hopes for this place after reading some of the reviews posted here. However, we booked it as part of a ‘Date Night’ package with the Macdonald Hotel and I have to say I was actually very impressed with both the food and the service. I ordered fish and chips and my husband ordered the burger. My fish and chips was possibly the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant - perfectly cooked fish with the chunkiest chips I’ve ever seen! It came with a generous dollop of tartare sauce which was absolutely delicious. My husband’s burger also looked yummy - a proper thick juicy burger, well garnished and with a decent portion of fries. The waiting staff who served us were very polite and efficient too. I don’t think there’s anything I could find fault with. If I had to be picky about anything I’d say the air conditioning was possibly a bit on the chilly side but it didn’t make our evening any less enjoyable.”

The mix of beef patty, smoked chicken, melted cheddar, cooked onions sauce, and salad was on point. Good portions, great ambiance and friendly staff. “Last night, I called in for a takeaway pizza. There was a tiny issue with the timing as the place was so busy but it was absolutely nothing to concern myself about. But ,because of this, the young lady serving me, Victoria, could not have been more helpful. I left wood fire smoke with a smile on my face only get home to eat the usual delicious pizza that I always order. If you have never been to this restaurant, then it’s time you did. I wholeheartedly recommend it as the pizzas are the best in town and staff are lovely.”
