“I visited Subway recently and was served by Joe. Despite the store being clearly understaffed and a constant stream of Deliveroo orders coming in, Joe remained calm, patient, and professional throughout. It did take a bit longer than usual to get my order, but it was clear the delay wasn’t his fault – he was handling a lot on his own. Joe made sure to greet every customer politely, took time to get each order right, and didn’t let the pressure affect his service. I really appreciated his positive attitude and attention to detail, even in a hectic situation. If anything, Subway needs to make sure their staff aren’t left to manage such a high workload alone. Joe did a great job under the circumstances, and his customer service deserves recognition. I visited on the 29th June 2025 around 17:30.”

“Handy shop. It's always open; like when you need something you've forgotten at the supermarket. Sells fresh fruit & veg, alcohol, store cupboard essentials, sweets and crisps. A huge advantage is the fact that you can have your Amazon orders sent here via Click & Collect. I've used this service lots of times and never had a problem. No more waiting for deliveries and the long opening hours take the guess work out of receiving your order. Amazon email you when the item is available to collect. “I went in this evening and the team had an assessment going on which obviously would’ve been highly stressful for them as it is with any job having an audit. Despite this the service remained perfect, food was great and minimal interruption. “I've had at least a dozen items I've bought from Ebay sent there for collection and I've had no problems whatsoever. The shopkeeper and his Wife are really friendly. I wouldn't go in there with any young children though or you might find yourself leaving the shop with no money left as they have the largest selection of sweets I've ever seen in a shop of that type.”
