“My new favorite breakfast spot! The staff here are absolutely amazing, so warm, welcoming, and kind. As someone who’s shy and Muslim, it means a lot to feel genuinely comfortable in a new place. They go out of their way to make sure I’m looked after, and they even adjust the food to fit my needs without me having to ask twice. It honestly feels like home. What touched me the most? They remembered my last order. That small gesture made me feel seen and appreciated. Highly recommend!”

She is always smiling and makes everyone feel welcome. Her fellow staff are members are also lovely and Alex always makes the Starbucks experience great too.”

Has a wide variety of beers and ciders to choose from, the staff are incredibly friendly, the interior is very cosy and beautiful and it also has a cute little beer garden for the sunny days as well as an upstairs floor is usually hosting some kind of event! “Visited Grindhouse for a quick bite and a coffee to avoid the usual big chains that you can't move for falling over. Friendly staff and service. Had scrambled eggs on sour-dough and I have to say - eggs are easy to get completely wrong and I was very happy that these were completely right! The coffee was also very, very good. My better half had the French toast and reported that it was "very nice" (high praise!) and just the right amount not to make you feel like Jabba the Hutt.”

“Super workplace coffee shop in Exchange Quay. Easy to drop in for coffee with a group - never a long wait and very quick service. Great quality coffee, and 50p off when using a reusable coffee cup. Many other options such as alternative lattes and teas. Also new cakes & pastries available each week. Small seating space downstairs, or large benches and sofas for groups upstairs.”

“To me, it is one of the best branches of Nero’s in the country. All the baristas here are decent and make tasty coffee and also very friendly. The menu was taken on 13 Apr 2024. Quiet, nice and cozy ambience. There are also four or five tables outside at the front and a couple more tables at the back. There are a few pay-at-machine parking spaces just outside the cafe and also two or three (non-free) parking lots around. (Browncross Street Car park is an expensive place and you might want to use Si P Spaw Street Arches Car park which is much cheaper. However, it is not so obvious where the boundary lies between the two car parks so watch out for it as there seem to be many people who got fined for wrong parking there.)”

“This is my No.1 Costa, excellent service, excellent coffee and lovely staff, I've been to many a Costa in some supposedly "nicer" locations but usually its been appalling. This is the one if you want your moneys-worth! The staff work hard keeping the queue moving and the very fact the cafe is always packed shows how popular the place is.”

“Fantastic lunch here. The food was to die for and the freshly squeezed orange juice was gorgeous. The mozzarella focaccia was so flavourful and the strawberry and vanilla sundae was absolutely next level. Our server, Esin was so lovely and attentive and even surprised me with a piece of passion fruit cheesecake (which tasted incredible) as I’m halfway through my pregnancy and was out shopping with my mum. Will definitely be returning!”
