“Came here tonight for the first time and will definitely be back. The pizza is the tastiest we’ve ever had, all the ingredients were quality. This place has such a nice vibe between the music and friendly staff.”

“As a family tradition we go out for breakfast on the morning of a holiday. We tried this cafe as the reviews were very positive and my wife had heard about it through a work colleague. The staff were very welcoming. There were a few regulars in who made the place seem very community focussed, more friends than customers. The food was really good freshly prepped after we ordered. When I mentioned where we going on holiday the lady who served us explained she was from that same area originally and advised us of things to look out for. Can't fault it. We will visit again definitely.”

“I have not been to this pub for fourteen years, but on Saturday 26th I went with work colleagues for a curry for my retirement and ended up in The Wheatsheaf. The Staff were brilliant young and vibrant, it was karaoke and everyone felt at ease the locals were very friendly. It was a good atmosphere and all had a great time.”

We come quite often to have lunch and I normally opt for one of their amazing pies and my other half loves their Lasagna. “Our second visit and again, an absolutely fantastic evening! Superb food, all 3 courses were fantastic just like last time. The house red is brilliant too! The pasta and pizza were great and the ricotta cheesecake was to die for! So so good! Outdoor dinning was lovely in the courtyard. Already looking forward to going back again soon! Highly recommend, gluten free and vegan options available. Perfect for couples and families. It’s an absolute little gem!”

“Nipped in for a quick lunch. The owner is the friendliest lady in the world and is so on the ball even when it’s super busy. Food lovely & great selection of cakes. Been in a couple of times now and it’s always the same.”

“Been wanting to check out since moving to the area and loved the cozy atmosphere. I was SO happy they had vegan milkshakes as I've not been able to find anywhere that makes them! “Popped in for food and it was AMAZING!! I think new owners have taken it over about a year ago? I'm not too sure, but the menu is fabulous and everything that got brought out of the kitchen looked amazing. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.”

“I popped into Sykes for the first time today and had a lovely breakfast with butchers sausages and bacon, perfectly cooked eggs and all the trimmings. The coffee was delish! The welcome was genuine and service friendly, as always from Mancunians. A great place to grab a quality bite to eat, recommended.”
