“This chippy has been here since I was a Kid back in the 80's, and the family who have owned the chippy since I can remember are still producing the same awesome English and Chinese food around. This is my go to chippy because it's always a trip down memory lane, the recipies have never changed and the food still tastes the same as back in the day. Lots and lots of dried beans , peas, lentils and other pulses , a very good range of ground spices and curry mixs in different size bags from about 250g upto 1kg A good range of jars of curry sauce / pastes . Huge bags of rice. A good range of oils A limited range of yoghurt, butter, cold drinks . Some kitchen equipment like sives, huge pans, tin openers. But the best thing is the staff , they are friendly and accommodating and can answer all sorts of questions regarding their stock , like how to cook things , what would go best with different sauces , how to prepare / store the fresh herbs and spices.”

“Heard a new chicken shop opened up in my local area, thought I'll give it ago. Was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service from the staff. The food was really good too, I ordered a spicy chicken burger meal and a half peri grill chicken platter. The grilled chicken was really tasty and covered in a flavoursome peri sauce. The burger was huge, and the muffin couldn't cover it all. Overall, it was a satisfying experience and will definitely be coming again.”
