Day out in Bolton

“My 1st visit to this place. Went to watch Little Voice. Was a brilliant show in a pretty good theatre. Will be going again.”

“Nice modern cinema based in Bolton's indoor market shopping centre. Plenty of parking in the multistory next door. We called during the day and virtually had it ho ourselves. Staff are nice and friendly. Very clean inside. Nice clean toilets. There's a bar serving alcohol and tea/coffee as well as snacks. A nice seating area for waiting before you go in.”

“Decent place to take the kids. We visit all the tike and had my kids 5th birthday there. Price is fairly cheap and you only need 2 hours before the kids are worn out. Parking is free. They do coffee, drinks and food for kids. Some nice food.dor adults too. Toilets are clean and they look after the place.”

“We found a nice offer on Planet Offers for this place therefore we decided to go down. We had an 5-6pm slot on New Year’s Day and it wasn’t over crowded. Plenty of place to jump around and play. Online booking and checkin was straight forward and entry didn’t take long.”

“This was a superb venue for golfing showing there are activities for adults too, where we enjoyed the Temple themed course! The course incorporates Temple monuments and green areas that would surround one, rocks are fun to play around adding to the structure too. Different lighting such as red and purple adds realism, holes having to wind around obstacles are inventive themselves! The counter is well laid out and staff were friendly there, also helpful over the phone when we had to push our booking to a later time due to a train delay.”

“My daughter had her 4th birthday party 19th October. The staff and especially the owner was so friendly and made the whole experience stress free. Been bringing my daughter here since she was a baby, definitely the best play centre in the area. Thank you to all the staff, Ashleigh aswel for being the best party host for my little girl. You’re all amazing and will no doubt be seeing you soon. Xx”

“It’s very overwhelming at meat session where everyone is very helpful because when I went to there they always gave me the meat which they don’t have for other I mean generally I prefer to take lamb ribs and special thank you to Ali bhai.”

“I can’t recommend Phil enough. He’s been walking our dog Winnie for several years now, and our beloved Treacle before that. Winnie is always up at the window in the morning waiting for her bestie, or uncle Phil as he is affectionately known in our household. When he’s here she’ll bark then go zooming out to him, helping herself into his car most times, tail going like the clappers. She always has the most fun and although she loves dunking and getting into anything gross and dirty, Phil makes sure she comes back to us in a reasonable state!”

“Went today 10-1-2025 at 16:00. It was a team meal we are all gas engineers couldn't park in the car park as are vans height is 2.4meters and the car park limit is 2 metres so had to park on a dark road, really wasn't impressed, took the first picture of the back, well make your own mind up, the front entrance is a little dated but clean and warm, very welcoming staff, was shown to our designated table at the far side of the restaurant, 8 men ordered their food with impressive staff and knowledge, drinks came first with no wait, then the poppadoms came crispy and plenty of sauces, , 15 mins later the starters came, I had the garlic chicken, it looks great chicken was dry but kinda edible, all the lads ate theirs, to be honest think the starters are expensive and small in portion size, mains came I have a mixed tandoori sizzler looks a bit of all the same, a bit of a mishmash, but it was tasty and the curry sauce that it came with was ok, it's a messy dish but didn't get much for 18quid, the staff hovered around felt somewhat uncomfortable, so the meal finished all in all was ok, would I ask or want to go again definitely no, coming out to the main road as it was dark their are small floor metal 12 inches high barriers couldn't see them fell and made a mess of my knee going to off my legs for a few weeks now really not impressed if I could had parked in the car park this wouldn't have happened”

“Called in for an 80th birthday celebration, the place was clean, bar staff very pleasant, good range of beers also has 0% alcohol beers. We were allowed to use the kitchen to make cups of tea. One of the girls was called Emily who was very efficient.”

“Just had a child's party here, very good all staffed made my daughters party fantastic, we privately hired and had the gold package and all kids got a slushy with there food and they loved it. It took the stress out of sorting the party I just had to turn up and everyrhing was done the cake was sliced up party bags done. The place was very clean before they party and they kept onto throughout our stay, after the party it was cleaned up very quickly for the next. Loads of seating lots of space and didn't feel crowded, would give 10/10 for this place and would recommend for a child's party place at a very good price for what we got ( we think so)”

“Linda has recently started walking Alfie for us whilst we are at work and I cannot fault the service at all. Linda is lovely and you can clearly see she loves working with dogs. We get regular updates and pictures of Alfie and know he is in good hands. We've come home to a clean, settled and sleepy pooch. Would highly recommend Linda to anyone needing a dog walker/sitter.
