We were greeted at the door by a young female and she didn't do any hard sell, very knowledgeable about the products but most importantly she was patient, kind and compassionate with dad making sure he got what was most suitable for his needs. “Been to all the different peri peri places, but this one is still the best. Don’t believe the negative reviews. 99% of the time the food is top notch. We come from Batley regularly, which is 40 minutes away, like many of our other compadres. The food is spicy, so don’t complain that you can’t taste anything else but spice. Genuine review with genuine picture to offset the bad reviews left by people. Been coming here for approx 18 years, but we do love hot food.”

“We came to Hei Hei’s after a huge walk and starving. We originally ordered to takeout but were kindly given drinks vouchers and so ventured to the bar upstairs. As we were waiting the lovely staff asked us if we would like to eat in the restaurant instead. We explained we would love to but our dog was waiting in the car. Mani and the other manager then said it was no problem to bring our pooch in! They treated our pup to chicken and pork before bringing us a delicious feast! The atmosphere and music was relaxed and ambient and the food was fantastic. I can’t recommend this place enough for both service and food. Needless to say, we can’t wait to return :) Recommend: the best curry sauce I’ve ever had”
