We had a great consultation which left us feeling like he really understood what we were going for in terms of the types of music and the crowd. On the day he absolutely nailed it, incorporating our 'must plays' in really seamlessly and playing a great blend of music that appealed to our whole range of guests. We and all of our guests had a blast and David absolutely kept the dancefloor full until midnight. So many of our guests spoke to us after to say how great they thought he was. “We overall love this bar and have been coming on and off for years. We first visited many years ago before they installed air con, and our complaint then was how warm it got when busy, the adding of the air con is brilliant. In recent days, we've become regulars. Where to start with the praise? Great vibe, musicals on the screens and lovely clean toilets. Lee, the doorman, is brilliant. A model bouncer and doorman. Last year, we unfortunately had an experience with a straight man who became aggressive to us and we told the bar staff who got Lee, whom proceeded to kick him out with 0 hassle to us and made us feel safe. This is our only bad experience in 5+ years of coming here as the place is great. The cocktails are inventive, delicious and bright to look at. Their new movie night Mondays is a great initiative and their changing boards of cocktails often based on musicals that have come to the city, are brilliant. The bar staff are so smiley, pleasant and love a laugh. One remembers my order every time which is special to us to be remembered. Our only complaint now, is that they're so busy some nights we never have anywhere to sit. But we're so happy they're full and business is booming!”

The weather was good enough to sit outside, the Halloween decorations were totally amazing. “Doesn't sell food so don't know why there is a waiting for food. Unless drinks class as food. Anyway good club fits about 200 people in there and when it's full it gets hot as it seems to be in a basement not quite sure but it's down stairs anyway. Good bouncers on the door. Good place to go for a night out. Only thing is you have to buy tickets online. But other than that Great place.”

“I wanted to just leave a thank you for Hammad Shaheen (hotel manager) / anyone else others the who send my lost property back to me when I'd left it behind. This hotel isn't glitz and glam, its price represents what you're getting, we stayed on new years day, 5 people in the group paid on average £43pp, in Manchester you just can't find those prices. As long as we had a bed we were happy. On the other hand in our particular room it had a tv, kettle, iron, etc, it was more than well equipped for the price. I would say if you book this hotel you need to be happy with a 'rough around the edges' sort of hotel experience, don't be expecting what you get or hilton or of the big chains - I've stayed in some fancier places but most of the time I'm out the room, All said and done it got the job done for us, and if you're not spending £££ don't expect some 4 star hotel experience. Price represents what you get. On the other hand if the price is similar to more luxurious bookings and you want that, definitely choose other options.”

“Crazy cheap drink prices. Absolutely no atmosphere and the staff all seem preoccupied and disinterested but the music’s loud, there’s a great smoking area and the drinks are ridiculously cheap. Gets uncomfortably hot when busy though, which isn’t that often anymore.”
