“Such a good councilling service lovely friendly, professional staff. If you're struggling with your mental health whether you've suffered a bereavement or it's personal it really does help but a referral is needed from your own GP”

“I was very doubtful when I first started my high intensity therapy due to having past bad experiences. My therapist Abida has been absolutely amazing and listened to me and what I want and do not want in relation to wording of things. This was from the very start so this enabled us to begin this journey with knowing what to expect from each other. I am not going to lie and say it was plain sailing because it was far from it reliving and revealing hidden memories but with the help of Abida and her compassion and empathy I am now in a much better place and have the tools to be able to keep going in my therapeutic journey. Never once did I feel judged or patronised whilst in my sessions like before. Abida has been my absolute rock throughout this painful and traumatic experience and I am so so appreciative of the help, support and guidance that I have received. I understand not all therapists are the same but set boundaries and ground rules for you both at the beginning and please listen to your therapist they know what they are doing, and as tough as it gets please do NOT give up it's worth it in the end I promise. I have just finished my 20 session and a quote from me that I have made in relation to my experience is "You cannot heal, if you cannot feel " Thank you Abida and good luck to everyone else who is thinking of starting this journey, is in this journey good luck or who has finished this journey well done be proud of yourself because I know I am. Thank you Abida ❤️”

    Kingfisher psychology

“Exceptional Support and Expertise: A Review of Kingfisher Psychology I had the privilege of working closely with with Kingfisher and their highly skilled clinical psychologist Dr Hacking who has a wealth of experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and serving the homeless community in Manchester. However, it was not within these traditional realms that I benefited from her expertise, but rather in her capacity as a clinical supervisor during the development of my business aimed at caring for vulnerable young people. From the onset, Dr Hacking demonstrated a profound understanding of the multifaceted challenges faced by vulnerable youth, stemming from her extensive background in CAMHS and working with the homeless population. Her insights into the complex interplay of psychological, social, and environmental factors were invaluable in shaping our approach to providing holistic care within the framework of my business. What truly set Michelle apart was her unwavering dedication to guiding and supporting me through the intricate process of establishing and running a business tailored to meet the needs of marginalized young individuals. Her ability to seamlessly blend her clinical acumen with practical business knowledge was instrumental in navigating the myriad of decisions and challenges inherent in such an endeavor. Overall, I cannot overstate the impact that my interactions with Kingfisher had on both me and my business. Her expertise, guidance, and unwavering support were instrumental in shaping our mission and guiding our efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Michelle Hacking to anyone seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable clinical psychologist and mentor.”

“My daughter Eshaal started in September 2024. First two week she was unsettled and now she is so happy when I drop her off. The staff in the baby room are excellent with her. Every morning when I drop my daughter off the office staff always welcome the children and parents with lovely smiles. She now happily goes over to the baby room staff, which makes me a happy mummy, knowing my baby will have a good day. Thank you so much for all you do. Highly recommend”
