“I was very doubtful when I first started my high intensity therapy due to having past bad experiences. My therapist Abida has been absolutely amazing and listened to me and what I want and do not want in relation to wording of things. This was from the very start so this enabled us to begin this journey with knowing what to expect from each other. I am not going to lie and say it was plain sailing because it was far from it reliving and revealing hidden memories but with the help of Abida and her compassion and empathy I am now in a much better place and have the tools to be able to keep going in my therapeutic journey. Never once did I feel judged or patronised whilst in my sessions like before. Abida has been my absolute rock throughout this painful and traumatic experience and I am so so appreciative of the help, support and guidance that I have received. I understand not all therapists are the same but set boundaries and ground rules for you both at the beginning and please listen to your therapist they know what they are doing, and as tough as it gets please do NOT give up it's worth it in the end I promise. “Oldham Children's Hospital. Amazing!!!! I am so shocked reading the bad reviews. Children are here to be brought back to health..so what if you have to wait 4 hours in a&e or have to wait 20 minutes to be buzzed into the unit. Your priority should be your child. How can anyone complain that the adults don't get fed? This is not a hotel!! How can anyone complain that the staff are lazy when they work 14 hour shifts?(Maybe that person should get a job!!!). Oldham NHS staff we will be forever grateful for the care of our son and all the other children in Oldham that you have cared for. Luckily you are all well educated enough to not take the bad reviews personally. Keep being amazing xx”

“My children have been going to Wild Space (weekly) for a couple of years now and show no signs of wanting to stop, which with a teen to please is testament itself to how great Wild Space Forest School is! Trudy is a fantastic leader and the whole place has a lovely welcoming, friendly vibe as well as a beautiful position conveniently placed in the heart of beautiful Diggle. Throughly recommend.”

“Broadway Day Nursery is absolutely FANTASTIC. Sarah, Becky & the wonderful team of aunties are just amazing and my daughter has been so well cared for since starting in December 2023. The settling in sessions when my daughter first started nursery were brilliant and I knew from the first day that this was the perfect setting for us. On starting nursery my daughter had a ‘cows milk protein allergy’ and every measure was taken to ensure that her allergy requirements were met by the nursery staff, the nursery even purchased a certain ‘coconut milk’ especially for her. My daughter has thrived since attending nursery, she’s learned so much and looks forward to going. I have recently been so impressed by the nursery’s commitment to supporting my daughter with her potty training too, creating a reward chart for her (mimicking what we had done at home) and keeping us updated with her progress. Each day Broadway Day Nursery provide an overview of activities and document what children have been doing via a parent/carer app which I love, and this really gave peace of mind when my daughter first started nursery. My second child will start in the Bunnikins baby room next year and I’m already excited for her nursery journey. I honestly cannot recommend this nursery enough, they go the extra mile and there is a real ‘family feel’ about the setting. Thank you aunties for everything you do!”

“By far, the best decision we ever made as family was to stay on the waiting list for 7+ months. Trust me when I say this, there’s a reason why there’s a waiting list, Simon House is an extraordinary setting for your children. I have two kids at this nursery and all the staff have gone above and beyond for them both. My eldest has additional needs and the nursery were so helpful in identifying them. The consistent communication with us as parents, as to how we could help my little girl was fantastic. Mrs Mortin, the head of setting has done so much for my children’s development. This nursery isn’t a matter of give us your money and we baby sit your kids. Simon House has a massive emphasis on Education & Development. We used to go to a nursery called kids around the clock in chadderton (google them). A child in my daughter’s class there was seriously injured. So, as you can imagine, as parents going through that, we made sure Simon House was held to high standards & they didn’t disappoint.”

Every morning when I drop my daughter off the office staff always welcome the children and parents with lovely smiles. “Absolutely brilliant school, my son has been here for 2 years now after moving from a mainstream school. I have to say the move from mainstream to a specialised school, was one of the best decisions I have ever had to make as a parent. They are brilliant with him, he is always happy to go to school, which is completely different to when he was at the old school since he never wanted to go there. He settled in really well, they had loads of transition days to help him get used to the idea of going there, I don't think they needed to though, I think he settled as soon as he went through the door, all the staff are so friendly and helpful, if there is anything you need help with they will do their best to help in anyway they possibly can. They are brilliant with my boy, they have made him happy to be at school, the support he receives is top notch and I would recommend this school a million times over.”
