“Excellent place. We went to a birthday party here. Lovely place. Excellent party for a child. Bouncy castle in the room. You could sit out, lovely greenery, lovely staff at bar. Nice place to hold an event such as a birthday for kids. Holds more people than you realise. Everywhere clean, toilets clean. Lovely place in a lovely area too!”

“We visited the shady oak tonight, to try the new menu! We were served by the lovely Michelle who gave us our free glass of Prosecco and told us about what to expect for the taster night. We tried and reviewed all these plates; bread, patè and olives - lovely patè but would be happy with less. Really liked the spicier patè and a nice portion of olives. Hallumi fries - I really enjoyed these, big portion but my partner isn’t keen on honey so he wasn’t into them as much as me. Salt and pepper wings - we both really enjoyed these and would come back just for these! Cajun wings - We liked these but not as much as the salt and pepper ones! Padron peppers - Wasn’t keen on these, maybe because we wouldn’t order them. If you want vegetarian choices there is probably better options out there. Salt and pepper squid - Nice flavour but abit chewy, definitely keep them paired with sweet chilli! Flat iron steak - We would definitely come back just for this. It was cooked perfectly to our liking and melting in the mouth. Lovely peppercorn sauce too! Wasn’t too bothered about the fried onions on the side. Shady oak burger sliders - These were so nice and juicy and as someone who prefers chicken burgers I really enjoyed it! Curry of the week - Not a curry we would choose as we prefer creamier currys like Korma, Butter Chicken, Tikka but was tasty, not too spicy and a good amount of chicken! We will definitely be back again soon to try more dishes and re order some of these ones too!”

“Amazing! Nicola is a the exact person you want to see in a play centre/restaurant. Me and my children were welcomed from the front door (first time) and showed the play area, made conversation and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Nicola is clearly a child friendly lady (surprisingly not all play centre staff are!) she was happy, energetic, polite, funny and looked after everyone there even as it got busier. A massive relief to feel like this when you have a child who can be easily overstimulated and the reaction of new adults and environments can have a huge affect on behaviour. Tilly was so happy and couldn’t wait to get in and also spoke to Nicole as she clearly felt comfortable. Great play area for my 3 and 1 year old. After attending many play areas the staff make a huge different to wanting to return! Nicola told us about the sessions we will definitely be attending for SEN. “Had both of my daughters birthdays here. Want to say thanks to Tom and all the staff at let loose, went above and beyond to make sure the birthdays were special for them. Much appreciated guys!! “Great experience! We took 5 kids bowling for my daughter’s 7th Birthday. The staff were great. We asked to switch lanes to give us a bit more space and they did so happily. We ordered drinks for all of the kids and 2 coffees for us, all great. Sharon was especially friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great time!”

“Excellent centre,always busy in a Sunday morning,lots to do here. Table Tennis always seems busy on a Sunday morning. Massive car park.✅ Great facilities,tea coffee,bacon buries always smell amazing on a Sunday.✅ A large selection of books are available as well for charity”
