A view of the Oldham Athletic pitch thrown in! I have attended a number of events here, and can recommend the centre for both social and business functions. “Dealt with my protective award after being made redundant by Axiom Ince who were solicitors having been intervened by the regulator after a huge amount of client monies were stolen by the then boss. Alan Lewis and his team were great. No win no fee. Even as a solicitor myself happy for the fees deduction as I really didn’t want to deal with it myself. Highly recommended.”

“Beautiful scenery, there were a little rocky/sandy beach too. Lovely day out. We walked about 5 miles. It has ups and downs, so the surface is not flat which we liked. There was a pay and display carpark but the security didn't let us in as it was full. We parked up the road. Free of charge. Went in beginning of August.”

    Tandle Hill

    ★★★★☆ 4.7
    Open

“Country park in Royton with toilets, picnic areas, playground and cafe (only open weekends which is a shame) There's a largish car park but also parking on the approach road (if there's space).Lots of routes that are colour coded. Some are quite steep but if you have the strength to push a pram/wheelchair uphill the trails are wide and in good condition - mainly tarmac or hardcore. There are plenty of narrower trails off these for the more adventurous.”

    Strinesdale Country Park

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Open

“Absolutely love Strinesdale foot paths and 2 large Reservoir's that allow fishing. It also has free parking and is that vast of a space you can walk round it and not bump in to anyone. Strinesdale also has a few picnic areas and amazing views out to the Pennines. There are 3 different routes you can take for that casual stroll or if you are looking to explore of the beat and track you can end up right in the hills and come out at a little farm house. All in all this is one of my favourite places to walk my dog and would recommend it to anyone.”

“Highly Recommended!!! We would not use anyone else after dealing with this company for our past two properties. They are efficient, reliable and extremely professional. Nothing is too much trouble. The property market was all new to us when we first went to them and they were more than helpful if we ever had any questions. I have recommended family and friends, who have received the service we did.”

“Our son just had his last day here after spending 2 years at Appledore in Moorside. The staff are amazing and so caring of the children I felt confident and comfortable from the start to leave our son in their care. He loved and felt comfortable being left with Leanne Holly or Racheal he started the nursery a quiet reserved child and today you wouldn’t even know it, he is so confident and happy and I believe a big part of his progress has been the staff here I’m sad he has to now leave and move on. If your looking for a safe happy loving learning environment for your children I would recommend this nursery highly.”

“Despite being early in my career, I realised I needed a better pension, it’s something I would have put off for a while if family had not urged me. Matthew was very helpful and knowledgeable. As I am a newbie to all things finance/pensions he was patient, explained everything in detail and his advice was very professional and friendly at the same time! He knew exactly what I needed to do to help secure my future financial goals and the whole process was easy, smooth and enjoyable. Thanks so much :)”

“Absolutely brilliant school, my son has been here for 2 years now after moving from a mainstream school. I have to say the move from mainstream to a specialised school, was one of the best decisions I have ever had to make as a parent. They are brilliant with him, he is always happy to go to school, which is completely different to when he was at the old school since he never wanted to go there. He settled in really well, they had loads of transition days to help him get used to the idea of going there, I don't think they needed to though, I think he settled as soon as he went through the door, all the staff are so friendly and helpful, if there is anything you need help with they will do their best to help in anyway they possibly can. They are brilliant with my boy, they have made him happy to be at school, the support he receives is top notch and I would recommend this school a million times over.”
