“By far, the best decision we ever made as family was to stay on the waiting list for 7+ months. Trust me when I say this, there’s a reason why there’s a waiting list, Simon House is an extraordinary setting for your children. I have two kids at this nursery and all the staff have gone above and beyond for them both. My eldest has additional needs and the nursery were so helpful in identifying them. The consistent communication with us as parents, as to how we could help my little girl was fantastic. Mrs Mortin, the head of setting has done so much for my children’s development. This nursery isn’t a matter of give us your money and we baby sit your kids. Simon House has a massive emphasis on Education & Development. We used to go to a nursery called kids around the clock in chadderton (google them). A child in my daughter’s class there was seriously injured. So, as you can imagine, as parents going through that, we made sure Simon House was held to high standards & they didn’t disappoint.”

“Farrowdale House Preparatory school is an excellent school with a brilliant learning environment. Kaizen-Do Karate is lucky to teach our LIFESKILL & Character Development programme at the school to many of its students. The students are always well behaved and show Respect and Discipline in all the sessions. The staff are nice and approachable. What really stands out though is that as soon as you walk through the doors you can feel a nice 'family' environment. “Absolutely brilliant school, my son has been here for 2 years now after moving from a mainstream school. I have to say the move from mainstream to a specialised school, was one of the best decisions I have ever had to make as a parent. They are brilliant with him, he is always happy to go to school, which is completely different to when he was at the old school since he never wanted to go there. He settled in really well, they had loads of transition days to help him get used to the idea of going there, I don't think they needed to though, I think he settled as soon as he went through the door, all the staff are so friendly and helpful, if there is anything you need help with they will do their best to help in anyway they possibly can. They are brilliant with my boy, they have made him happy to be at school, the support he receives is top notch and I would recommend this school a million times over.”

“Is it not safer for children to come out at the bak of the school then?also the parking is a nightmare because there are disrespectful people parking on the path so pushchairs and children are forced to walk onto the road.empty car park at the bottom of the school??? Lazy parents??? As for the school every member of staff is very welcoming approachable and helpful. What ever happened to lead by example! Some parents expect the teachers to do all the work in teaching children.it comes from parents too.!”
