“Decent place to take the kids. We visit all the tike and had my kids 5th birthday there. Price is fairly cheap and you only need 2 hours before the kids are worn out. Parking is free. They do coffee, drinks and food for kids. Some nice food.dor adults too. Toilets are clean and they look after the place.”

“We found a nice offer on Planet Offers for this place therefore we decided to go down. We had an 5-6pm slot on New Year’s Day and it wasn’t over crowded. Plenty of place to jump around and play. Online booking and checkin was straight forward and entry didn’t take long.”

“My daughter had her 4th birthday party 19th October. The staff and especially the owner was so friendly and made the whole experience stress free. Been bringing my daughter here since she was a baby, definitely the best play centre in the area. Thank you to all the staff, Ashleigh aswel for being the best party host for my little girl. “Just had a child's party here, very good all staffed made my daughters party fantastic, we privately hired and had the gold package and all kids got a slushy with there food and they loved it. It took the stress out of sorting the party I just had to turn up and everyrhing was done the cake was sliced up party bags done. The place was very clean before they party and they kept onto throughout our stay, after the party it was cleaned up very quickly for the next. Loads of seating lots of space and didn't feel crowded, would give 10/10 for this place and would recommend for a child's party place at a very good price for what we got ( we think so)”

“We have used the cattery in August and are using again in sept 2024 it is a fantastic cattery well organised exceptionally clean and our cat is very well cared for. He has been on vet prescribed medication daily and Viv just takes over his daily doses with no fuss whatsoever. We wouldn't use any other cattery it has to be the best in Bolton. Gets booked up very very quickly which tells you everything you need to know”

“I have left my beautiful grumpy cat storm with these guys. I have used thier service 5 times and I’m so happy. They are caring and I know my cat is being well looked after. It’s right next to my house and they charge £9 per day which is so reasonable and cheap compared to others. I will 100% go back to them and will come recommend you guys 100% use thier service for your cats. Thankyou guys for looking after my cat I really appreciate your service and will be coming back to you guys again xx”

“As a healthcare professional who visits the nursery regularly, I just want to mention how pleased I have been on my visits. Lovely staff with a genuine enjoyment of working with young children. Staff are well trained on how to support children. I have seen good examples of staff implementing strategies to help support development. The nursery has a good learning environment and the staff always have creative activities set up. It is amazing to see the care, kindness and compassion they demonstrate every single day. Friendly atmosphere that is welcoming, approachable and a pleasant place to visit.”

“My son attended Bright Futures for almost 3 and a half years up until starting school. He absolutely loved the nursery and I cannot fault them. He received not only amazing care but his confidence and skills flourished. Hayley, Angela and Lauren really care about the children and this is reflected through the whole nursery. He left confident and ready for primary school and they’ve certainly helped with that!”

“What can I say about The Dawg House, such a fantastic place for our Cockapoo Henry. He gets so excited when you just say ‘ the dawg house’ & can hardly sit down when we are going. The staff are so professional & you can tell how much they love the dogs. To us it’s better than we could wish for. Well worth the money & the things they do are just so fantastic, from photos to videos to cards at holiday times (Christmas, Easter etc). A BIG Thank you to Sophie & the brilliant staff for looking after our Henry x”

“The best kennels around! My staffy has recently had a trial stay here for 2 nights. I used a different kennels in Bury last year and can safely say Shelleys' kennels is 10/10. The staff were so lovely on arrival, came out to the car to greet us and made both myself and my dog feel very welcome. I was shown around the kennels whilst another member of staff took my dog to play and the kennels are very clean and tidy and the facilities are brilliant! I can't recommend Shelley's kennels enough and my dog can't wait to stay again! Thank you :)”

“Our cat Tilly, always stays here when we go away. Exceptionally friendly staff and the individual 'rooms' the cats stay in are very clean and have little doors which lead to a small outside space. Reasonably priced too. Wouldn't even consider putting Tilly anywhere else.”

“Nice new wacky where house. Its separate from the pub. £5 per kid. Cheap as chips. You get a couple of hours playing. Food and drinks available. Staff were friendly and toilets were clean. Kids had a blast.”

“What an amazing kennels, can't stop smiling. We boarded both our Shar-Pei's Chewie and Leia. This was their first time and I was so nervous, they are a difficult breed to say the least. Leia is also our latest rescue, she still suffers anxiety due to her awful past. But wow did not have anything to worry about, they looked amazing, waggy tails and looked like they had a real doggy holiday. Josh, Stewart and all the staff have a genuine love for Animals, it makes me smile. I would definitely recommend this amazing kennel. They will be visiting regular now, a great way of socialising. “As a parent of a child who attended this nursery for two years. I cannot praise and thank the staff enough. My childs progress has been phenomenal. He even knows some sign language and is barely 3 years old. We only had to move him due to work commitments, however the staff did try to make some accommodations for us to allow him to remain, unfortunately this wasn't possible for us. Every review should be 5*, however it wouldn't do the work you do justice. Keep it up Broad Oaks.”

Hesitant to leave our daughter in anyone else’s care, we asked friends and family for a recommended, local, nursery who would look after our bundle of joy to the highest level. One visit to little acorns and we knew it was ‘the one’. She squeals in delight when we arrive and sleeps like a log when she comes home. She is loved, cuddled, educated and as her parents we are reassured that every minute she is there she is content and happy!! Can not recommend enough, our little acorn is thriving.
