“Not used in the conventional sense but two kind guys from the scout hut helped my son when he was knocked off his motorbike outside the scout hut. They stayed with him until I got there, gave him an ice pack and helped move his bike.”

“Spent an afternoon with a good friend here. The weather was gorgeous which just added to a marvellous day all round. We started with a breakfast in the stable cafe, and a cake to take away. The house itself is breathtaking. The solar is probably up there with the best rooms I've ever visited in a historic house setting. The guide outside the room was delightfully chatty, friendly and informative. Made us feel so welcome. It was great to see some of the conservation set up that they have on the go. We finished with a brisk walk around the grounds to finish the day.”

“A lovely park with lots of options for children to have fun. We had 6 children ranging from 9 months to 8 years and all found something to do. Parking is reasonable, as is the kiosk. They enjoyed feeding the ducks, the bike track, play ground and the sand pit. More benches on the sunshine would be useful.”

“Great experience! We took 5 kids bowling for my daughter’s 7th Birthday. The staff were great. We asked to switch lanes to give us a bit more space and they did so happily. “Always Active sessions have had such a positive impact on my Mum' s life. Her dementia (AD) means she sometimes forgets my name, but she never, and I mean never, forgets what days her Always Active days are on. These are the only days she gets up early and is ready on time. She always wants to go and even though by the time she gets home, she's completely forgotten what she's done during the day, she will always tell me she's had fun and how much she's laughed. The staff are absolutley amazing and I can't praise Gina, Sharon and all the amazing staff enough. Seeing my Mum enjoying herself so much at Always Active sessions is an absolutley priceless feeling. I will be forever grateful. X”
