“This review will be updated with more photos eventually! Smashville Oldham is head and shoulders above the competition in the area. Using well seasoned prime mince and having some of the best chicken tenders around, there are many reasons to make a second order here. Initially, we bought the munch box, which comprises of a choice of two patties, two tacos, two tenders, a portion of chips, drinks and a waffle. I can't explain in words how good the box is, because each bit is as different and flavoursome as the last. The products in the pictures are a set of their seasoned tenders, Korean (spicy) tenders and a biscoff waffle. The chicken has a light batter that is crunchy to the taste and is smothered in Korean spicy sauce. Stronger than buffalo, it's something most people will find a comfortable level of heat. The review left here has to state that Just Eat are a shocking method to choose to buy food from these guys through. At no fault of their own, the Just Eat driver we had either ate or lost part of the order. Smashville went above and beyond to try and arrange a remedy on the day, but being a Friday it was busy and just not possible. They have however, made upon request, the missing elements of the order with some free additional tenders and a waffle to boot. I have genuinely never had a takeaway where the staff have been as polite or gone above and beyond to fix an issue that wasn't even their fault. We will be returning to Smashville and I encourage you to do the same. Screw Just Eat.”

“Excellent service - I ordered at the table vis tge app, and it was delivered very quickly. I chose the super caesar wrap - lemon /herb with rainbow slaw and Portuguese salad - it was really delicious. I'd had some sad news whilst eating and the manager kindky came to see if I was ok - that was such a lovely thing to do - it meant a lot, thank you so much”

“Been using this place for absolute year and over the time they have gone from strength to strength. I've just ordered 3x 12" pizzas for me and my kids, came withing the time specified. Anyway the driver was lovely only came to £27 for 4 cans and 3 large pizzas. Me not thinking gave the driver £40 instead of £30 and said keep the change... Started tucking into the food which I will add is absolutely tasty as always, around 10 minutes pass and I get a knock on the door, it was the driver. He realised my mistake without me even noticing and gave me my £10 back, simply because of his kindness I split it with him. Restores faith in society, there are some real honest people still out there and working for brilliant companies too! Thank you! 10 out of 10!”

“Second time we have had pizza from here and it's great. We drove 20 mins from Ramsbottom so it's not far and knowing it's a 100% vegan place is reassuring. The Marinara was delicious and my boyfriend had the Prosciutto and Fungi for the second time which he raves about. It's his favourite pizza. It would be awesome if they could deliver but the fact that there is a vegan place so close, well, we can't wait to actually go in and eat and have a night out there with some mates in a few weeks time (hopefully)!”

“Super Smash makes amazing burgers! We tried the Pachos Smash Up, Juicy Lois, and the Original Crispy Chicken Burger. The Pachos Smash Up was our favourite, crispy chicken and juicy beef in one burger! Everything here is fresh because they grind their own meat and mix it themselves. You can really taste the difference. We’ll definitely be back!”

“This place is a proper hidden gem. The pizza is the best around. Proper stonebaked pizza, tastes amazing. The burgers are really good too. Just a small restaurant so it has a nice atmosphere and the friendly staff make it even better. Would definitely recommend!”

“Beautiful. Located in the quaint town of Uppermill, this chic cafe bar is a faithful spinoff of one of Uppermill’s best cafes, Caffe Grande Abaco. This cafe bar has a nice rustic and authentic atmosphere, like a traditional cafe bar you may find in Italy. Also, the staff are really friendly (10/10), especially Nigel (the owner), who was great to me. Plus, I went to Caffe Grande Abaco for 10 years, and it was quite emotional to meet Nigel, as I was always asking the staff at Caffe Grande Abaco, “Is the owner in?”. Now, back to Veloce! The cafe offers a variety of drinks, handpicked from CGA (at this point, I’m going to shorten it - Caffe Grande Abaco). So, you can have a nice latte or a cosy hot chocolate while you chill and warm up here. Surprisingly, it is also a deli, since they have charcuterie meats and cheeses, condiments, authentic Mediterranean pastries and biscuits, and even freshly baked bread (so authentic!). I tried Rogers Pistachio Cruffin (mix between a croissant and a muffin) which was crispy and flaky on the outside, but fluffy and indulgent on the inside, and the silky pistachio cream made it even better. Perfect for breakfast! They also do sandwiches here, with fresh sourdough and scrumptious meats and cheeses and even flaky sausage rolls. What I really want to mention, however, is the fact that they are supporting local businesses. Most things here (the pastries, products and even honey) are made by small businesses in towns near Uppermill, which is really nice as Veloce is helping out those businesses. Overall, this place is a must if you are looking for a proper Italian cafe bar, and some delicious food. It is also perfect if you want to buy some charcuterie meats and cheeses, as they have a wide variety of them. Only complaint is, Veloce really needs to bring in some Arancini, as I don’t see much Arancini in Saddleworth, and I’m very sad about that.
