“I can't praise the staff enough. After being let down at short notice (again) by another salon; a family friend personally recommended Glowing Salon. They managed to fit my Twin daughters in at short notice (on a Saturday) during a busy holiday season. Both were really happy with the service and styling so two happy daughters in addition to not denting my wallet as bad as other Salons. Will definitely recommend to others and I think my daughters will now be regulars. Thanks again Jola and team”

Colette was happy to set up our request long distance as I was unable to travel, making the rings in good time for our anniversary. “Been there a few times now since i've moved to Eccles and it's been a great job every time. Great service too with complimentary drinks-cans and usually some chocolates/sweets whilst you wait. Nice guys. (I usually go in with a tonne of hair after a couple of months and i'm out within 40 mins or so and they do a great job - other people are in and out within 10-15 for shorter cuts.)”

“Helen street chippy is a fantastic chip shop in peel green. Located on the corner on Helen street. Parking is street parking only but I've never had an issue finding a place. The staff are nice. There's a cold drinks fridge at an average price. The chips are lovely. Two types of curry sauce. Always hot and tasty food. Would recommend and I'm a regular customer here”

“Staying one night in Manchester, and saw this Caribbean place, so had to give it a try, I got the rice and peas with goat curry, and a lamb patty. The food tasted so good! I got the normal portion which was just right, the mutton just fell apart it was so tender, I would highly recommend this place for your Caribbean fix. The music in the place has be wanting to move, the only downfall was that I had a long walk back to my hotel, but the food was worth the walk”

“Sarah cut my hair, my husband's hair and our toddler's hair, all three of us were delighted with our cuts. Our toddler who is slightly shy and not used to strangers liked Sarah so much she gave her a big hug on leaving. It was so convenient having Sarah come to our house, and great that she has such a broad skills range so could accommodate us all and adapt to the requirements of a 2 year old. Sarah is very warm and professional. I was cutting my hair for a charity donation and she took lots of time to discuss with me the cut length and new style, which was especially kind as she wasn't charging me full price as it was for charity. We ended up having a really nice morning with Sarah and would absolutely recommend her to anyone.”
