I tried half a dozen waxing places in Andover, Basingstoke, Newbury, and Salisbury and none were very good so tried sugaring with Ali. Much less painful than waxing, no ingrown hairs, and the recovery time is much faster. On top of the exceptional service, Ali is just a bloody good person who puts you at ease and makes you comfortable for the duration. Would definitely recommend.”

“I’ve been coming here for a good 3 years now and I always look forward to my visit. Everyone in the salon is lovely and from when you first walk in you feel welcome. Andreea is who I usually see for my colour and I’m hesitant to sing her praises too much so it doesn’t make it harder for me to book with her! But she really is brilliant. She knows her stuff and she will tell you honestly what can realistically be achieved and her finished work - well I haven’t been this happy with my hair for years! It’s the healthiest it’s ever been and her efforts make me feel so good about myself. I can just chill out and feel pampered and know the quality of work is excellent. Love the massage chairs and head massage at the hair wash station too, and they do a decent coffee as well :) thanks Dawn, Andreea and your excellent team!”

They let my hair lift for quite a long time in order to match my inspiration picture exactly. My hair has never looked so good, thank you so much for your hard work! “My son has been attending Mariannes salon for more than 10 years. He was anxious at the hairdressers and to begin with he would not sit in the chair and had to be distracted. Marianne worked with him at his level sometimes on the floor while he was playing and sometimes outside ! Today, though it is still not his favourite activity he sits calmly in the chair and talks to Marianne while having his hair cut. This success is down to Marianne’s calmness, experience, careful use of the scissors and patience treating him with respect and care to make him feel at ease and engaged in the situation.
