“Recently visited for a meal with friends. We didn't stay over on this occasion, but have already planned our next 3 night stay. The food was delicious as always, one friend opted for the pie of the day, declaring it to be " the best pie she had ever eaten" - this echoed the sentiments of my husband on our previous visit. We were able to sit outside in the lovely gardens with our after dinner drinks - a delight not to be missed. “This is an old pub,and it needs some T.L.C. but the times we live in, don't help.! It is between 2 shops,so you could easily miss it! But its worth it to go in and have a pint or two or three! It low cost' so get sum in!! .”
