There is still the garden centre, paint and home items so not everything is lost from being just a Homebase. Party items and toys are welcome new areas.”

I have many decorative plastic planters from here in the garden that have lasted years and years and still look brand new. Also holds a trove of DIY tools, fittings, random parts, and spares. Generally, if you want something random, they've got it in stock (somewhere!), or they've got an alternative that works just as well or better. Staff are friendly and helpful and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend over b&q, wickes, etc, for household DIY”
