I want to say that I was very happy from walking in to leaving. The lady had a fringe too so I think she understood exactly how I wanted. I would go 100% again when visiting from Cardiff again. “Huge thank you to Emma who did my hair and makeup for my wedding last month. I visited her studio around 6 weeks before the big day for a hair and makeup trial. The Hair and Makeup Studio in Penmore House is a lovely venue and Emma really made me feel at home. We tried a few different hair styles which were all wonderful and then she applied my makeup. Emma prides herself on providing a natural look and enhancing natural beauty and this described perfectly what she did. On the day of the wedding she arrived at the venue and made me feel and look absolutely wonderful for my big day. The makeup lasted all day and my updo was still in place the next! I cannot recommend her enough if you want to feel special on your big day, or if you just want to feel pampered!”

“So happy with my experience at escape. I went for a Hollywood wax which I’ve had many times previously in different salons. However there is very limited salons in this area that offer this so was excited to find escape. On top of that, I’ve never had such a pain free, relaxed wax ever!! Was more shocked at the lack of pain tbh. So comfortable, lovely customer service and feel ready for my holiday. Would recommend to anyone.”

“I booked a curling master class with Hayley. I have been struggling for years to curl my own hair so I decided to attend the class. The atmosphere was so lovely and Hayley was so professional explaining and showing us all the different ways to curl. We then got to practice on our own hair and for the first time I managed to do it. I would definitely recommend 100% the curling Masterclass to all that struggle with curling their own hair. Hayley is very professional and helpful the best Hairdresser by far xx”

“We went to Hardwick Hall recently for the Christmas experience and it was really good. We really enjoyed it. I’ve visited a long time ago and each time it has been kept in a really good condition. The grounds are really lovely and the shop and café really nice. They had a little coffee van out as well this time and it was really nice too. It was absolutely tipping it down with rain but that still didn’t stop us from having a good time. There was also a guide there who answered my questions about some of the history, she was energetic and it was great to meet someone so passionate about the history of the place. Would definitely recommend for anyone of any age, but bring an umbrella if you think it might rain, unless you’re happy to run inside the hall!”
