“Having started Spinners in 1988 I can not believe how much it has changed and developed over the years. We continue to offer the same reliable and caring service but have included more styles of dance and a musical theatre programme for children and young adults. Children that we taught are now parents themselves and bring their children to the school. Yes it's makes us feel old but hey that's a good thing. We keep current and make the students time at the school an enjoyable one. Exciting times are ahead, as always, with IDTA examinations and two shows yearly at The Point Theatre. “The classes are fantastic. Silvia and Max are friendly, talented, excellent teachers and every class is so much fun. Despite being nervous at first this feeling quickly vanished. Classes have a mix of abilities so there is no need to worry about not having done it before and every one is so friendly and helpful. I always come away having reinforced a skill, learnt something new and having had a really lovely evening with a great group of people. The mixture of focussed lessons and social dancing time to practise is the perfect blend with great music too! These classes have improved my fitness and confidence as well as introduced me to a brilliant group of people and shown me it's never too late to learn something new. A lovely venue with one of the best views of Winchester in the city. It is also helpful to be within a ten minute walk from the station when coming from work.”
