“We have been attending Neil's classes for some years and they are always very enjoyable and rewarding as he is a great teacher, whatever your level. He takes the time to explain and demonstrate all steps and the routine in detail and there is always a sense of achievement when learning a new skill in such a super environment. Neil's classes are also always great fun - he has a particular style and sense of humour, varied and well structured. We have also tried private lessons which are of great value. Rubies and Neil much deserve all success and are highly recommended!”

However, Jelena’s professional approach and easygoing personality made it so easy to fall in love with, relax and truly enjoy. Atmosphere in the class was very warm and friendly. Our daughter takes several dance classes in different disciplines which she absolutely loves. All 3 of our children also attend Starlight, their musical theatre course, which they enjoy immensely. The numerous performance opportunities the children have had has really helped them to grow in confidence and to develop life skills which sadly can't always be taught within the confines of the National Curriculum. “Welcoming, friendly and fun! There were a few absolute beginners like me in the class and within the hour we were able to move around the dancefloor and enjoy the music. Great atmosphere at the social dancing after the class. You can bring up your drinks and the bar staff will bring food orders upstairs too. Highly recommend!”

“I've danced with Michael & Jowita for over a year now, all through lockdown on zoom and I've loved every minute. Their classes are fun lively and they cater for everyone's needs from a beginner to more advanced. They break the steps down and by the end of the class we know a small routine. They are such lovely people and very down to earth and would highly recommend being taught by the best. If I lived closer I would attend live classes without about a doubt Feb 2022 - online classes are still continuing and still so much fun every week. You think signing up to a dance class that is what you will get with Michael & Jowita , well you couldn't be so far from the truth!!! We have guest appearances from Rodger The Cat who is cheeky and loves to join in, The Robot Hoover who likes to go for a spin around the dance floor too, whilst creating magical choreography to a fabulous tune and nothing gets Past Michael and Jowita with their High Definition camera to give constructive feedback and just because you are on Zoom and you think he cant see you - well think again lol!!! They are an amazing couple and hope to join them one day for a face to face class”

“Wonderful nurturing, friendly and professional place. My daughter has a real sense of being properly trained in ballet at the age of 9, as there is formality in the form of uniform and exam preparation without it feeling too strict. She loved the chance to prepare for and perform in a show at Jackson’s lane. Highly recommend this excellent school.”

“Jack provided private lessons to both myself and my wife before our wedding, along with group lessons for both our hen and stag dos. He's an amazing dancer and his passion for dancing and teaching is contagious. Jack made us feel completely comfortable and he helps you learn whether you can dance or have two left feet. The group sessions for our friends were great fun. Jack had even the most seasoned English wallflowers up on their feet. We will both be having further private lessons and we can't recommend Jack highly enough.”

“Just started my course at AYA and I’m so impressed with the teaching style and atmosphere. I was so scared to start something like this in a group but everyone was welcoming and the tutor took time to watch us individually and guide us. Venue wise, my sat nav took me to the road before Oakley but I quickly realised to follow it around, taking two right turns and that brings you to the front of the South Norwood venue.”

“We booked sessions with captiv8 dance to prepare for a wedding dance at the suggestion of my fiancé. I want massively bothered about it but went along with it. It turned out to be one of the most fun bits of the wedding prep. Oya is such a good teacher, so flexible and so enthusiastic. She doesn't teach you just a routine but how to dance. We found the practice to be an ideal antidote to wedding stress. When it came to the wedding we nailed it, and it felt so good. We even did our dance at home the day later as we missed it. We're planning on doing follow up lessons as we loved it so much!”

“Really recommend Becky and her team for starting or continuing pole dance. I’ve been to a few pole schools in London and the South East, and haven’t had the same welcoming and community feeling as I have with Becky and team. I joined in Jan 2020 just before the pandemic, so only had a short time before moving online (then back in studio again) but Becky handled the transition so well and made everything as easy as possible. All 4 instructors are so friendly, patient and knowledgeable, coming to BB Pole Studio is my favourite part of my week”
