“At around 2 months of age, I noticed that my baby boy was developing a flat spot due to the fact that he was a great sleeper. After spending hours online researching plagiocephaly, I came across numerous solutions which included the Sleepcurve mattress and numerous pillows. I decided to opt for the cheaper option: the Mimos pillow. After using aforementioned pillow for 8 weeks, I could see his head was actually getting worse, and he had developed torticulus as a result. It was easy to trim the cot mattress down with a pair of scissors so that it fit my Chicco crib and once in place, George loved it- he could move his head freely which alleviated his torticulus and started to recify his plagiocephaly, and he slept soundly- 12 hours nearly every night! After 4 weeks or so of using the Sleepcurve, his head is starting to round and I am elated. Do not hesitate if you are in the same position as me- buy a Sleepcurve immediately and if you are lucky enough to live in the North west go and see Philip at the Oak Hall clinic. Both George and I can now sleep soundly in the knowledge that we are treating both his torticulus and plagiocephaly in the best way possible.
