   Having passed by this establishment for quite some time, I had been eager to visit. It is somewhat tucked away and not immediately visible on the side street. We enjoyed chicken ramen with soy sauce and chicken gyoza. The ramen was served in a generously sized bowl and tasted wonderful. We also had peach wine, which was very enjoyable. It surpassed my expectations in terms of both the food and the price. The service was also quite exceptional.

   Such a nice lunch spot, all of the staff are very polite, the food is really tasty and the portions are really big. We got the duck bento, the salmon dragon roll, nigiri and miso soup. The quality of the fish is also incredible. I would definitely recommend

   This is a very affordable Japanese restaurant. The sushi here is very generous in portion and there's a lot of fish meat inside. The new mix sashimi don, when eaten with soy sauce, tastes exactly the same as what I had in Japan.

   Relaxed little place, absolute gem for sushi, and I have to callout the cocktails - they're so affordable and are yummy. I've been here so many times now with different friends and even just once for a few cocktails. Always been excellent. Absolutely addicted to the salmon sashimi bowl, my definite go to. The platters are amazingly worth it (I used to live in London so...), portion size was SO GOOD, quality SO GOOD (see pics) Never get hot food here so can't really comment but can confirm it smells and looks yummy.

   The food here is absolutely delicious. I’ve been to this place twice since I started living nearby, and it’s one of the spots with the freshest fish I’ve ever had. The salmon literally melts in your mouth. This second time, I tried the shrimp with mayonnaise side, and they are hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. The service is excellent. Highly recommend.

   What a nice dinner! We have kinda booked (1 hour before turning up) and managed to get a table even if the place was pretty busy. Our waitress was very courteous and polite. The food was great, the only dish we didn’t like was the tofu, because it came cold, perhaps would have been best to have it specified on the menu. The sushi was awesome, and so were the drinks we had. Highly recommend.

   Lovely sushi place. Bentos are a great deal and they're willing to swap out things you don't eat too. Sashimi is lovely and the staff are kind and courteous. The atmosphere and decor is tranquil.

   akasushi_mcr The latest newest sushi spot to open. Just on the outside of China town located in Blue Whale Supermarket Aka Sushi brings fresh quality sushi to MCR. Set in a simple setting, aka sushi dishes really do speak volume. With a small open kitchen and what seems like a huge menu everything is prepared there and then. We ordered: Sushi Set A (16 pieces) consisted of: 3 Salmon Sashimi, 3 Tuna Sashimi, 3 Salmon Nigiri, 3 Tuna Nigiri, 4 Salmon Roll & Seaweed Salad. Salmon Bento Box: Salmon Fillet, rice, chips, salmon sashimi, seaweed salad & baby leaf salad. The box usually comes with chicken too but it's not halal so we were allowed to swap it. Food was served quickly, presented nicely and was really good. Definitely a good sushi spot. Location: Unit 1, St James Tower, 7 Charlotte Street, Manchester, M1 4DZ Monday to Sunday 12-10pm
