I booked the Sushi Master Class for my daughterβs 14th birthday. Wilma was our teacher and she made the experience 10/10. She was funny, informative and made sure we were all looked after and had a great time. We learned so much, had lots of fun and made some great dishes to eat or take away. Well worth the money, great experience and fantastic gift for friends and family.

The shitake mushroom rice bowl was phenomenal , that good that I ordered a shiitake bag bun ! Amazing veggie options in the sushi selection too! Team were so welcoming and attentive and we couldnβt have needed anything more.

Went to Yo! sushi, grand central station last night with work (Party of 20). It was a great experience, lots of plates to choose from off the belt. We also ordered off the menu which was really tasty and served quickly. Staff were very attentive and welcoming.

Food was decent, not a great selection available but when we asked for something it was made quickly. The biggest down side was the service, the chef had to greet us because no-one else was available, after we were sat down no-one came to take our drinks order and when I went to ask I was surprised when the guy sat at the bar picked up a tablet and offered to take my order, he looked like a customer! All in all it was ok but not sure Iβd repeat the experience. Dessert was amazing though.

I went for the Bottomless Belt today, and it was my first time visiting. No complaints about the quality of the food, which was made to a high standard. However, a member of staff clearly told me that I could order select items like gyoza, katsu curry etc off the menu as part of the bottomless belt. Unfortunately, when I came to order these items, another member of staff apologised and said the policy had changed, and I would only have the cold options on the belt. This left me disappointed, as I wouldnβt have the same experience I couldβve had months earlier. In addition the belt options were basically variations of the same thing. Salmon on rice (nigiri), salmon in rice (futomaki) or salmon on its own (sashimi). I saw Edamame once (I managed to nab it), and waited almost an hour for desserts to roll out. When it came to settling my bill, I was almost overcharged by Β£10 on the service fee, something I was not made aware of beforehand either online or in person. When I politely contested the charge, it was edited before my eyes to Β£2.25. Even this amount was too much, as I only wished to pay Β£29.95. Considering the mistakes made, I did not believe a service charge was warranted. All in all, this experience has dissuaded me from bringing my family here in the future, and I hope you can look into some of these issues as it may hinder return visits.

Always visit this place when in Brum. It can get busy so be prepared to wait. Ordering is done via qr scan. I struggled to do this until I clicked onto Yo! Sushi wifi. Service can be hit and miss, depends who's working as sometimes I found the waiting staff difficult to attract their attention. The food is good although portions are on the small side (even the big plates). Could do with more veggie options. Still a good place to visit though.

You know what. I used to love Yo. It was fun, quirky with the food flying round on the conveyor belts. There was a good vibe about it. It made going there fun and exciting, it was also something different for my kids. Before I launch into some mental rambling of an old man I have this to say. The staff are always polite, friendly and professional. The food is tasty and fresh. I love it there. Will I go back now though. Probably not and itβs for these reasons. Absolutely stupid ordering system. No human contact after the initial hello sir how are you today. If I want to go to vending machine for hot food Iβll jump on a plane and zip off to Japan for the experience. It is an absolutely horrible experience going there now. Scan a QR code. Scroll through endless dishes that may or may not be available on the day. This makes McDonalds look like a 5 star dining experience. You are under selling your products and more importantly your staff. I understand during covid you had to do this. Though now there is no need for this sort of automation. Itβs utterly soulless dining. You even have the cheek to ask for a tip / service charge on the menu. I may be an old man but I actually like speaking to a waiter/tress person and when they give good service. Itβs a pleasure to tip them. If I could give 5 stars to your staff I would , the same with the food. Your style of delivery for ordering is the worse ever. I may have well ordered an Uber eats / just eats or whatever else there is out there. Go for yourself. Make sure you have a decent smartphone, a damn good connection and prepare to wade through the nonsensical menu system. Shame on you Yo. Rating is purely for the ordering system. Food and staff spot on.

A bit expensive but well worth it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is a genuine delight. I especially love the conveyor belts!

Great service, food was brought to us promptly and fresh. Staff very accommodating. Please consider more chicken sushi roll selections for people who donβt enjoy fish.
