   Purchased a Groupon to use here, For the price I was absolutely blown away, not only was the food lovely but the service was great as well! the lady at the front was very friendly and attentive and the man doing the Teppanyaki was very engaging and friendly as well! The food was absolutely wonderful I would happily come back again! It was quite quiet when we attended but given my partner and I are more introverted that was perfect for us. It was a lovely meal with even better service. They had even sang happy birthday to my partner when they’d found out it was his birthday and even put a candle in his ice cream which I thought was such a thoughtful and sweet touch ❤️ Would happily come back to this restaurant time and time again not only for the food but for the lovely people as well

   It seems to be a sought after place for its top floor sky high fancy dining experinece (tho not many choices) slash luxury bar with golden dance vibes. However it is a bit of a greenhouse environment during summer, with all those very large glass windows, winter would seem to be a more comfortable time if you are heat sensitive.

   My time at Shogun was amazing. Billi and her team did their best to ensure that the food at our graduation dinner was of excellent quality. The customer service they provided was undoubtably stupendous. We entertained, spoken kindly to and we really felt at home. They went above and beyond to even help us celebrate with a cake! I would highly recommend that anyone reading this should come to Shogun for a good, authentic Japanese meal!

   Sushi was fabulous loved it but I think the tepenyanki wasn't tasty as it lacked seasoing and this is the second I've been. Its great for large group not for date as way too much noise but good experience for anyone willing to try.

   Delicious sushi! Definitely one of my favorite places in Birmingham. When we arrived, we were a little disappointed that the sushi belt was not working. Justin, the chef behind the bar, asked if we wanted to leave it up to him to choose our food and we said yes. We were NOT disappointed! We honesttly had one of the best meals we've had in a while! The sushi was great quality and the service was fast and friendly. Would 100% recommend.
