   Very lucky to have been able to find this place and eat. The food is delicious and could possibly have been the most delicious sushi I've ever ordered. I didnt manage to get a photo of the other food as my partner had already eaten his by the time I'd got my phone out to take a picture. Lovely staff and fresh food. Definitely worth a visit, we will be back. Last orders where 9.30pm on a Saturday

   I got the sashimi selection, seaweed salad, eel sushi and the lychee cooler. This came to £35, and it was nearly their closing time - maybe that contributed to why is was bad? The sashimi was really chewy, especially the tuna and the white fish (unsure what it was). The salmon was not as bad but still quite chewy! The eel sushi was not bad. Seaweed salad did not taste fresh. Lychee drink was okay but very small portion and not much flavour. Overall, would not recommend.

   Aka sushi is the kind of restaurant you always end up going back to, any occasion and any day. The service is exceptional and the food arrives promptly every time, the servers are lovely and they always make you feel comfortable. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable, the portions are great and definitely fill you up. I would highly recommend coming here whether it’s for an evening meal or if you’re coming for a light lunch. My friends and I often come for dinner and we consider it one of, or if not, our favourite restaurant in Liverpool.

   This restaurant may look small from the front, but it offers plenty of seating inside. The interior design is simple yet appealing, with a cosy atmosphere complemented by background music. There are many outstanding aspects of this place: the portions are satisfying for the price, and the food is incredibly flavourful. There is also a wide variety of menu options to choose from. The service is friendly as well.

   One of the best Japanese meals I have had. The Sushi was amazing, the squid and the gyoza were perfect, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the service fast and efficient (without being rushed). Glad we popped in. We will be back.

   First visit yesterday the food was fantastic, sushi was delicious and the deep fried squid was cooked perfectly. It has a really good vibe and the staff are friendly, you sit at a long bench shared with other diners, that might put some people off when it’s busy.

   An excellent sushi restaurant in the heart of Liverpool's Bold Street food emporium! If you haven't found this road then you haven't found Liverpool. Aka Sushi has some fantastic food and some brilliant friendly service. Another place to return to!

   Couldn't rate this place high enough for a genuinely delicious Japanese treat. Food is fresh and plentiful and the atmosphere is so chilled out. Staff are so friendly and happy to answer any questions as well as make recommendations that suit you as opposed to their pockets. I had a steak bento box and my son had chicken katsu curry, we shared some salt and pepper wings and calamari and it was all the best versions of the food we've ever had. I can't wait to go back again! Altogether for 2 mains, 2 sides and 2 soft drinks it was just under £45 which is so cheap for the middle of Liverpool!

   We've been here several times. Noodles, Rice and Bento dishes are great. However the sushi could be a bit better. Doesn't seem so fresh and it was a bit warm (I don't think Sushi should be warm?!). Other than that, the staff are really nice and reasonable price for the other dishes.
