Right now, there is nearly a 50% discount on roasting medium beef at Tesco; we bought it last time. This time, we took our product from the same spot, where there was a discount label, and again assumed it was the discounted product. But it turned out to be beef brisket, and it didn’t have the 50% discount. Ever since I finished at the checkout, I’d been trying to figure out why the total was so high — it turned out the discounted spot had a non-discounted product in it. I didn’t misread it; the product was in the wrong place. Happy New Year indeed — thanks for your promotional discounts. But Tesco, even your throne is wobbling; they might bring you down too :)

Absolutely appauled by the staff at Tesco this morning. I went in to buy a product who was in stock on the app, spoke to a member of staff who confirmed the item was in stock. She spoke to a manager then came back to say that they couldn't get the item out of the Warehouse until Wednesday. I went back after work to find out they had sold out of that item at 3pm. Thanks for wasting my time and my petrol while your staff are either being too lazy or backdooring the stock.

Popped into Broughton to get slippers. Didn't have my size. Extremely helpful member of staff checked the stockroom but as none there she offered to check other stores for me to find them. She was very helpful and found them in chester city centre store. Appreciated

Caffe went down , new staff are everything bit helpful, feel like You must be grateful for them even answering You. Completely clueless top of it. 3 starts is for old staff ( they deserve 100 stars ) , they are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful . As for choices they use to be top 10 , but are going down over years, products one by one get eliminated and I must look for something to replace it.

Popped in on our drive to Llandudno from England. Loved the travelator and the halloween bits, as well as the upstairs cafe with touchscreen kiosks to order. My main point of visiting was to pick up some Cerave, unfortunately there was none stocked here. We didn’t leave empty handed however I did have to go elsewhere for my moisturiser, which was a pain.

Broughton -Chester Tesco it was a very long wait for the manned tills at 4pm. I showed a staff member my knee support and said it was causing me a problem standing a long time. I was told "We got no staff" . I was in a lot of pain. Broughton is used by a lot of elderly people. Tesco is not staffed to offer even basic service to vulnerable customers. I informed Management but no feedback.

Escalator broken so walked up it. Lift at the back of store if you have a trolley. Very large store over two floors. Upstairs clothing, automotive, homewares and cafe. Cafe presentable, bright and clean. Plenty of tables and fabric/wood quite comfy chairs. Just had a cheese & spring onion toastie. The serving staff on till are very efficient, though not over friendly. However the toastie was one of the best I have had. Lots of filling, well cooked & presented and slightly crisp bits of cheese around the edge. Cafe very busy so impressed with the food and service. Only marked down as noticed one server carrying food to a table had 4 plates and one of the buns was resting against his jumper practically under his arm. I would be worried about hair or lint being on food. But, most of the time just serving two plates which is fine. Tables cleaned and sanitised quickly. Would definitely visit again.

The escalator was broken when I visited. It wasn't clear what was stocked upstairs before I went up. The cafeteria has cheap plasticky chairs and looked like an old works canteen. It isn't clear, especially on the ground floor where everything is and some things were in surprising places. I didn't find it a relaxing place to browse and shop.

On Broughton Park on left as entering ,while Tesco petrol on right. Facing is escalator,1st Floor, Clothes, Homeware and small Cafe. Ground floor, newspapers, mags, sandwiches, take out drinks. Large Food selection ,frozen plus Cleaning products. Till quick to go through, clean store, pleasant staff. Free parking for few hours and Disabled Parking, wheelchair access.

Nice shop but no longer 24 hours opening so essentially useless to me. I don't want to shop at 9pm with 50 screaming kids. I go at 1am when there is me and tired looking staff only. The removal of this means the removal of me, I can shop 'online' with anyone. As most of my visits are after midnight, I doubt I will see much of this shop again.
