   Very nice pizza and quick service. Only thing that let my experience down was the guy with orange turban who kept asking me questions about my height which I find very intrusive and unnecessary, it doesn't matter how tall or short someone is, they are still human and bleed the same colour. He also asked if he could take a picture with me and when I politely declined he just stood staring at me which made me feel uncomfortable. He also found it okay to start asking about my work, like where do I work and what do I do for work. Apart from that everything was okay

   Paid a fortune for 4 items and waited over an hour for it! Only to find that the best bit and part we were really looking forward to - the cookie - didn't turn up. Rest of order was cold! Why every time you order for delivery is something missing? I honestly wonder as a restaurant manager myself who is running these places! Do you not check your orders before handing to delivery driver? Who is expediting in the kitchen to ensure orders are in the right place at the right time? If the chef is reading the check correctly and the server is checking all items are present when handing to driver then why are items not making it to the customer? Service was terrible. Won't order here again! Quality and speed of service and food were definitely not where they should be for a name like Papa Johns!!

   A solid choice of pizza, not at all greasy unlike some other main chains. It worked out at 12 quid a large pizza when ordering with a deal. Lost a star as delivery was quite slow but other than that, spot on.

   We've been ordering here since they opened in Pontefract but was really let down last night. They are usually on top of our custom orders and we have no issues but last night we ordered at half 6, we didn't receive our order until around 8 o clock. The order was incorrect and they put real cheese on 2 vegan pizza's. So we had to call back and have them switched, we're told they would have the correct pizzas with us in half hour, we didn't receive them til around 9 o clock and honestly the pizzas we did receive were smaller than usual and poorly made. No apology given to us either. We were ordering from them bi-weekly at least but think we might have to start ordering elsewhere. Sorry guys but really let down by this!

   Ordered just before 4pm for collection at 4:45. We arrived on time but needed to wait a further 5 min until the food was given which I'd say is acceptable. The place was very clean and staff were quiet but functional. Food was hot and not greasy like other well-known pizza places. Customised pizza was made exactly as specified. Cheesy garlic sticks weren't very garlic heavy but still good. Garlic sauce is very buttery (will use as garlic butter as too overpowering as a dip for my tastes).

   this photo shows how the pizza was delivered .. it was just left on the wall by the door to the house and probably the wind blew away the box .. Is it rocket science to knock on the door??? .. I will never order again .. £20 went straight away to bin. Sorry.. but I wont eat from the ground

   I have been wanting to order from here for months now and finally yesterday evening the opportunity arose and we were not disappointed in the slightest. We order 3xxl pizzas, it was £33 not a bad price at all and when we received our order we were more than happy to pay that price. The delivery was so quick and the driver was lovely, really smiley and we had a little giggle with him. The food was beautiful, the pizzas looked so good and tasted lovely. They were still steaming!!! The only thing I would change would be maybe a little more sauce on the base but it did not spoil anything. The flavours were incredible. The garlic sauce which came with each pizza was basically garlic butter so we've saved it for a home made garlic bread another day, it was too much to have with a pizza. Myself and my family absolutely loved the pizzas 100% and we will most definitely be ordering again, I think my eldest will be too, we sent her a picture of the pizza, she was blown away.

   *EDITED REVIEW* ordered two pizzas a few days ago and there was an issue on the papa John's website. This resulted in me not receiving any communication regarding my order which meant my pizza was cold when collected. After speaking with customer service - not only did they refund the order, they also gave me a fresh order. They couldn't apologise enough and was extremely professional! And the fresh pizza was absolutely amazing. By far the best I've had! Thank you again!
