“We had the pleasure of dining at Blue Smoke recently, and we’ll definitely be back soon. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Tommy, a friendly young man who showed us to our table. After a brief moment, he offered us drinks and then service was taken over by Lucas. We ordered a selection of pizzas and a chicken parmo, and we were blown away by the quality of the food. The ham and pineapple pizza was hands down one of the best I’ve had in a long time—huge credit to the chef for that! Throughout the evening, we were mainly served by Lucas and Ryan, who were both incredibly polite, friendly, and attentive. It was clear they went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We also had our one-year-old with us, and the waiting staff were so kind, making an effort to chat with him and acknowledge his little waves. It’s always nice when the team takes the time to engage with little ones! The atmosphere at Blue Smoke was perfect—not too busy, which made for a relaxing dining experience. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of food, and overall, it was an excellent value. We highly recommend Blue Smoke to anyone looking for delicious food and top-notch service. “Once upon a time you couldn't go wrong with Chinese food. Just about any take-away you went to was par for the course. I don't know what went wrong, but they all seemed to go down hill. I haven't had a cracking one for a good 10 years or more. Until today. 5 stars. I had special chop suey, salt and pepper chips, and prawn crackers. It was all still piping hot when I got it home. It doesn't say on google maps, but they do deliver.”

“An unexpected stop for breakfast this morning turned out to be a lovely little find! The décor inside is really nice, and the staff gave us such a warm welcome. We sat upstairs and ordered a full English breakfast and a full vegetarian breakfast — both were freshly cooked and delicious. Service was quick and friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. “My wife and I used to go fairly regularly, prior to the convid lockdowns but, as it went through various changes of ownership, we went elsewhere. Anyway, as it's local, we decided to see if it was as awful as some recent reviews and went today (04/12/2025). We had an excellent experience. The staff were attentive, polite and courteous. The food was also of a high standard and, there was plenty of it. My wife had the scampi, and she had about 20 pieces on her plate! I had the steak and ale pie, and it WAS a 'pie'. Proper pastry top and bottom, not a piece of puff pastry on top of a bowl of meat. It was stuffed with lean, tender steak. Both meals came with triple cooked, hand cut, chips and, again, plenty of them. We both enjoyed our meals and, we'll be going back - a bit more regularly.”
