Wonderful. Will return no doubt. Staff so polite and attentive to your table. Did disturb us unless we were low on something, like drink. Atmosphere a little flat but we were in not long after opening and by time we left it was filling, and you could feel the customers were regular visitors. There is a nice water feature in the dinning area that provides a light relaxing sound. Food excellent and well priced to top it off. Well worth the visit.

Strange place - nice food! It's an odd sort of place for a Tandoori restraunt. More an old banking hall than a red-vellum encrusted traditional British Indian Restaurant. OK get over it! The staff are brilliant and accomodating. They allow you to dine in an unhurried pace, which is so much at odds with what you tend to get with chivvying-up in London. The food was ok-to-excellent. The only downside was the tandoori chicken starter which was to my taste slightly undercooked. I like typical British Indian Restaurant tandoori chicken baked within an inch of it life! Main courses were wonderfully spiced and well presented. I need to mention the wine. Not the best selection but more importantly not utterly ripped-off by wine mark-up that seems to sustain British restaurants to the detriment of us all, so well done for that! All in all, given that this is Tamworth, this is well worth a punt.

Beautiful building and interior to start. The service was great and the food was really good! The pickle tray was particularly lovely to start with, some complimentary onion baji’s (very kind) and followed with a prawn korma. The real stand out for me was the naan bread - probably one of the best i’ve ever had!

This isn’t a bad place to go for Indian food but considering the food is average/slightly below average than every single other curry house you care to mention, it’s far too expensive for what is essentially average Indian food. £34 per head for a main a side and two drinks left our entire party stunned. The service was incredibly slow taking 50 minutes before starters were served. I don’t understand how this place gets so many good reviews. Like I say, it’s not bad but the negatives outweigh the positives

We had dinner here Tuesday night and tbh whilst there was nothing wrong it could have been a bit better to hit 5 ⭐... starters were fine but some portions were a bit on the small size , for our shared main we ordered the chicken chili balti and expected some good heat but whist the flavour was ok it did lack some fire and did actually taste sweet ... garlic naan was also sweet tasting... Our waiters were really nice and the restaurant clean & tidy.
