Sadly the food isn't anywhere near as good as it used to be. Not sure if they have someone else cooking the food but the standard sure as he'll ain't the same as it once was. Hench the 1star rating now. Curry mutton consists of a few pieces of meat (u can count the quantity on one hand) gravy is sparse, tasteless, the entire dish is padded out with a gargantuan portion of rice & peas , and perhaps 1 spoonful of veg which on occasion looks like it was purchased from The frozen veg section in a supermarket . Delivery is slow, and driver made us come outside and walk up our garden path to collect it off her because she complained that there was no lights! Seriously? The front door is literally 7 steps away from the front gate ! She'd parked on the road ( in THE MIDDLE OF COURSE) then stood at our front gate with our order in her hand and her phone in the other hand .. NEVER AGAIN! £23 I wish we'd spent elsewhere.

I had a takeaway from here tonight and it is THE best of its kind I have EVER tasted. Just some of the best food of ANY kind I have ever tasted. I had mutton curry, jerk chicken, coleslaw, sweet potato, steamed veg and fish fritters. I was going to save some for tomorrow but I ate the lot! I will come back as often as I can! Thank you so much.

I visited this takeaway on a Saturday. First impressions, it's ok in decor, menu board easy to read. I ordered mutton with rice and peas, price was reasonable. Onto taste very nice indeed mutton was done real nice so was the rice. I returned and tried they soup and jerk chicken and again real nice no complaints the fried dumplings was very nice....not like some, I've tried at other Caribbean takeaways. So as you can see, I came back so it's definitely worth a visit also they close at 10pm. At the time of visit they was no hygiene rating, but you can see them in the kitchen preparing food and it looked fine to me.

I have eaten Caribbean food all over England and Jamaica and cannot recommend this place highly enough! The food was awesome... tender curried mutton well seasoned and fresh dumplings and plantain. I thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful and the service from the friendly staff was the icing on the cake. Give them a try I promise you will not be disappointed!
