    Delivery service good generally but due to the weather there was a 30 minute delay this week. No apology when we rang the shop- lovely delivery guy did apologise, but food cold and something missing from the order. We had been dissatisfied with the food before( the fish was very chewy and cold), but we thought we would give it another try as we had previously experienced good food from there. We didn’t call the shop with regards to the missing item as it had taken so long initially to get through to query about how long it was taking and just couldn’t be bothered. Total cost was £30 which is a lot of money when you receive cold food. We definitely won’t be ordering from them again.

    Ordered three meals to take home, waited 12 minutes. The fish and regular chips with mushy peas was an absolute joke. I don’t know what the fish was, but it was tiny, sloppy and well over battered. The “mushy” peas were little hard bullets in a green sauce, a real joke. The chips were fine, but a lot less of them in a box. This place has got downhill since I first used it 5 years ago!! Nearly £25.00 for two mini meals and one regular, ripped off.

    OMG I didn't think fish n chips could be improved but I was wrong. Meet Masala Cod! Fried in a spicy coating that is dry (not greasy like batter). Lovely homemade chips, cheerful friendly service and fresh crispy salad with mint yoghurt. Yum!

    Since moving to the area I have not found a better chip shop than this branch. They make the best masala fish wrap I have ever tasted, the chips were fresh and the staff were so friendly thanks to our server Hassan for a lovely experience.

    Really enjoyed the saveloy and chips for £3. I was asked if I wanted the offer for 4.95 with the curry sauce, but declined. I was going to have a pickled onion, but not for 50p. Food is good, but look at the price board. You may get a better offer from the menu above the counter.
