A little gem of an Italian restaurant. I had Lasagne which was very rich and tasty, it was a large portion. The Nona garlic bread was great, a good combination of dressed rocket, tomatoes and Parmesan.

Absolutely loved our evening at this Italian gem! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of cozy and classy. The food was exceptional—authentic flavors, beautifully presented, and every dish we tried was delicious. The wine selection perfectly complemented the meal, with knowledgeable staff happy to make great recommendations. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A fantastic experience from start to finish—we’ll definitely be back!

What a gem this is, a little piece of Italy. We booked prior to going to see Peter Kay at World Resort.... this place is just 10.minutes away from all the chaos. Great food in a lovely little restaurant. The menu was extensive, something for everyone. The food we ordered was delicious and the portions sizes very generous. I had the Caprese that was light and tasty. I followed that up with monkfish, mussels and garlic mash from the specials menu.. absolutely fantastic. My wife had the bruschetta with mushrooms and dolcelatte cheese. Delicious and enough for two to share without doubt. This was followed by polio bianca neve. Again a tasty and delicious plate of food. The other members of our group had bruschetta all'pomodoro and calamare fritti followed by Tagliatelle Pollo e Gamberetti. We finished with dessert although we were pretty full at that point. If you're in the area then don't miss out on such great food, support local you out be disappointed. It's just a shame it's over an hour from home ! Just need to ring an excuse to come back.

Are in with family last night for the second time after numerous takeaways. The food here is excellent: authentic Italian cuisine full of flavour and good value. The pasta dishes are delicious and the dough on the pizza and breads is amazing. The service was also on point and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. I am already looking forward to our next visit.

Incredible food, staff where incredibly nice and welcoming. Can't recommend this place enough. The quality and freshness of the food was probably the best I've had. Staff where checking in and seeing how the food was, they where attentive without being over bearing. We will be coming back and we'll bring more of the family as its easily the best Italian in Birmingham

Table for 3 booked at 8pm. We were seated on arrival and left unattended until 8:20 when we had to ask if we could order drinks. We were told by the waitress that the ‘big table’ had all the menus, she’d try to find one for us. The restaurant wasn’t at capacity, they did have 2 large parties, one of which had not booked? The long awaited starters were tasty, (we were told, we only have 1 chef) sorry to say at 10:10pm and still waiting for our mains we asked for the bill! My Husband and my daughter ( it was her meal to celebrate her 15th Birthday) resorted to a takeaway on our way home ☹️. So disappointing. For many years we had been regulars at Giovanni’s Italian in Dickens Heath, unfortunately they’ve retired. Looks like our search for a great authentic Italian, with great service and excellent food continues. Our experience at La Nonna’s left us extremely disappointed - not an experience we will repeat. I will mention the red haired waitress was most apologetic when we settled our bill. She insisted we took some ice cream home with us.

It's an absolute authentic Italian restaurant. Food is even better than what we have in Italy last month. The ravioli surprised us a lot, it's look couldn't tell how great it taste. Maria is an amazing host and thank you so much for surprising my friend with the birthday bell and song!
