Had a fabulous time at the Christmas Dinner with fellow business owners. Joe, the manager and the staff are friendly and supported us with our requests. Food tastes and smells amazing. It's spacious with free parking. Totally recommend!

Food was great- two must try dishes are the Hatti Grill and the Lamb Karahi A good menu selection for meat eaters and vegetarians Service was slow and we had to find a member of the waiting staff a couple of times - they did seem short staffed Overall a good experience and will return

Desi Pub, food was great - Haathi special mixed grill was great as a sharer platter, really tasty and the lamb chops were so tender and flavourful. Atmosphere was great, football on screens, plenty of tables, music at a nice background level so could still have a conversation without shouting. Had to order everything at bar- no table service which was a shame (this was due to staff shortages on the day however) other than that - all reasonably priced for where it is. Will definitely come back!!

This was the Red House pub when I was growing up and wasn't that great. We went to the Flying Elephant on Wednesday to celebrate a birthday and see what it was like. First impressions were great, with both the outside and inside looking much nicer. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our booked table. The menu looks excellent with a mix of Indian, Kenyan and British dishes. We ordered starters and main courses. All the food was really excellent. I particularly recommend the Samosa Chaat! The only slight downside was that the plates for the main course were cold. When we asked whether they could be heated the waitress said 'well they have come from the hot plate' and walked off. We then opined that the service really dropped off and even though it was becoming busier, there were staff just standing around - when we finished our meal nobody cleared the finished ates even after we'd received and paid the bill. At the time we shrugged it off and as I say the food was fantastic so we still enjoyed the meal. However, I would love this place to succeed so improve the service and it will be even better. We will return to see!

What a spectacular place! Great venue, nice location, excellent service and the Indian food is just sensational. I'm so impressed by this place, it's definitely a hidden gem. I was blown away by the food, honestly, hats off to the chef's. Love the decor too! This has to be one of the best pour of beer I've ever come across. We visit quite often, and I've introduced my friends to this place and they just love it. I must say, I often go for meat based dishes, however the vegetarian curries are just bursting with flavour.

Had a fantastic meal here last night. We won a voucher as part of a charity raffle that they'd generously donated as a prize. So pleased to win it as it gave us chance to try it out and we'll be back again very soon. The mixed grill was one of the nicest we've had in a long time and the curry and sides lovely too.
