Best kebab after a night out I’ve had outside of Turkey! Lamb kofas are beautiful and charred over the charcoal grill. Well done lads!
Foods always good from here, they use real charcoal to cook the kebabs. Would recommend the chicken kofte!
There’s the sober perception of this venue then the drunk perception. From the drunk perceptions Botan has and can be a life saver when walking up to the main road after a night out whilst awaiting your taxi or pick up to arrive. The food isn’t amazing but the atmosphere and service is friendly and tolerant to the drunkest of people which in moments of being smashed means more than the quality. From the sober perspective it’s a cheap takeaway, you get what you expect and pay for, you know it’s a roll of the dice and that’s ok. This isn’t the go to place during the day and I think Botan knows this however at night during the rough hours of the morning Botan is there to help revive you or ensure you go to sleep with some food in your belly!
Unfortunately my chicken was raw and the mixed special kebab didn’t taste good. Been to Botan before and never had an issue but we were very disappointed this time round. Luckily I noticed before eating any more
Absolutely spot on lamb kofte tonight . Perfectly cooked , tasty, spicy meat . Wow. Wish I'd got the bigger one . Top class
This place is top tier. It's not just a cut above your average takeaway. There is nothing average about it. It's so noticeably better than any takeaway or restaurant serving this kind of food. It is a wonder they don't have a sit-down restaurant or more locations. They must love what they do as they do it so well. All of the awards are so well deserved. Am I saying this for bigger portions? No. They're huge anyway. Am I saying this in the hopes they'll pour their liquid gold that is their Chili sauce down my throat? No. That's a weirdly specific fetish. But it has to be tried! We usually drop in on our way back, but tonight we had it delivered and it was still amazing. I'm sure they have their secrets but their cooking is so tasty it makes other places seem lazy. The heaviest of scrans. Yeno tha!
I can only comment on the chicken.. I'd definitely eat their chicken filet burgers again! The fries and what I believe their own made chili sauce was delicious. The sauce - was a unusual texture BUT was lovely. Friendly staff Thank you
Worse kebab I've tried in Liverpool. Too expensive and portion is not worth for the money. Salad is bland. Even after asked to add some sauce, no sauce put inside. Not recommended.
Best kebab shop I've ever been too in my life, since I went I've never gone everywhere else. Here multiple times each week and NEVER once had a bad meal.
