   Brilliant local independent cafe! Had the full breakfast last week—everything cooked exactly to order, great quality ingredients, no cheap ingredients. Came back today for the homemade cottage pie with fresh veg (not frozen!) white cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and peas. , chips and extra gravy—absolutely spot on. Food comes out hot and quick, staff are friendly and up for a laugh, and the place is clean and well run. Amazing value for money. Highly recommended.

   A brilliant cafe with superb food, the bacon in particular is the best we've had! The atmosphere is always welcoming and the lovely staff are always happy to stop for a friendly chat. A special mention goes to Jane, whose warmth and friendliness make every visit even more enjoyable.

   I was staying nearby as had an event on in relation to the Commonwealth Games. I was after a good morning coffee and I certainly found it here! The owner was so welcoming and the coffee was the best I have tasted in a long time. I have another event nearby in September and I will try to pop in to say hello again and sample the best coffee!!

   Been going here for years, but last 2 visits have been awful. When is the owner coming back? Hard eggs, bacon & sos look like been on warmer for hours cold toast this was myself & wife £14 took half hour to come to us inedible. Owner! Your presence is needed had to go home and cook myself a sandwich. Too much chatter and not enough attention to work

   I had a lovely chicken roast dinner which was delicious. The staff always do a great job. However when one of the young girls put my dinner on my table I said thankyou then she said its okay but the way she said it was like she did not want to be at work as she did not look happy at all. Its important to smile at customers at all times as its good customer service. Plus I really don't think its wise to put a bowl full of tea bags that have been used on the front counter.

   Great bacon sandwich and coffee. Staff are very pleasant and service is fast considering cafe busy. Well done x 2nd visit. Just passing so popped in for breakfast and coffee. Staff still really good. Nice breakfast. I paid extra for the Americano. Well done x
