After reading the reviews my first visit was a couple of Saturdays ago. I ordered the large Oxtail dinner..My goodness the food was EXCELLENT, I had some left for the following day so well worth the money. Important to add service with a smile. Junior is a gent, polite, respectable AND a very GOOD cook! Just like Arnie said 'I WILL be back'! For those who complain about the lack of choice order your food early or risk disappointment. This is because food of this quality sells fast. As the saying goes, 'When it's gone it's gone'.
Nothing was available from the menu apart from chicken curry, and that was microwaved .It had some flavour but wasn't even piping hot ,so for me, I wouldn't go there again. Reply to owners speech....You admitted using the microwave. Therefore, my review is not misleading, I said the curry had some flavour, but it was too cold for my liking and was the only dish available on your menu. As for the part about contacting you on social media, it wasn't me. I don't have any social media apart from watts app for friends and work groups .I have no reason to contact you .As for the part about appreciation of carrabion cuisine and community, my neighbour used to bring me some curry goat, and it was delicious ,I learnt to make mutton soup and dumplings my self also delicious so don't come that with me you don't know me .
I've been looking for a good Jamaican takeaway for a while now and this is it!! Tried the curried chicken with rice n peas today and it was superb, knew it was gonna be nice cos the place is immaculate inside and the prices are reasonable as well.
Excellent authentic Jamaican food Great service Food is always fresh There is a small cafe style eating area if you want to sit in. I would highly recommend
