The atmosphere was okay but the food was mediocre and not fresh. It seems they heat a premade food for quicker service but that is very bad for the quality. Cleanliness was below expectation. Go there if you have no other option

Lovely food, was recommended by my husband's friend. Service and decor was spot on. Definitely will come back here again.

I recently visited Al-Badar on Ladypool Road with my family, and it turned out to be a genuinely enjoyable experience. The moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior dΓ©cor really stood out beautifully designed and truly reflective of authentic Lebanese style, which added a lot to the overall dining experience. The service was impressive as well. All the waiters were dressed in uniform, very polite, and always ready to help. Their professionalism and friendliness made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. As for the food, it was delicious. The mixed grill was a standout perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The wraps were also very good, fresh, and nicely presented. Portion sizes were satisfying without being overwhelming. Overall, it was a very good experience for me and my family, and we left feeling happy and satisfied. I would definitely recommend Al-Badar to anyone looking for tasty Lebanese cuisine with great service and a lovely atmosphere.

I had dinner at Al Bader restaurant and I ordered the lamb kafta as pictured.... the food was really delicious and the ambiance is also very nice, old school and retro seating. Afterwards, we ordered the baklava with pistachio ice cream. The ice cream was very nice, perfectly sweet and full of flavour. But the baklava was a bit oily.

Authentic Lebanese & Moroccan Flavours! This restaurant truly captures the essence of Lebanese and Moroccan cuisine. We ordered two plattersβ€”one chicken and one mixed meatβ€”and both were full of rich, authentic flavour. The food was beautifully presented, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Great service, warm atmosphere, and a genuine taste of tradition. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed their food and ambiance! Ordered mandi and the lamb was tender and juicy and also loved their shawarma and chicken wings.

Very nice Lebanese restaurant. The staff were nice and friendly. Told us their most recommended dishes. Wait time wasn't too long. They have authentic Arabic style seating, which adds a nice vibe. The only suggestion would be parking and a bit of brightness in the restaurant. It does seem a bit dark inside.

Ordered a Whole Lamb shoulder that was served with rice, & a large Mixed Grill that was served with fries. To be honest, I expected that Lamb shoulder would have to be ordered 24 hrs in advance, but I was wrong, it was ready in front of us within 30 mins. I like my food nice & warm, this needed to be served a little warmer than it was actually served. That was the only down point, other than that, it was beautifully cooked, meat was very nice, soft & tender. But the fact it wasn't served nice & hot, before we were finished, it was cold & then greasy. I expected to see steam coming from it when served. The mixed grill was nice, again needed to be served a little warmer. But other than that, was an enjoyable mixed grill. In terms of customer service, was adequate.

Good Lebanese food, comfy atmosphere, lovely decor and friendly staff. Lamb kofta little hard otherwise food was great. Had a lovely time with my family. Highly recommended

Very good vibe and very comfortable seating. Lamb shoulder was not hot, it was bland and not spicy at all, although it was very well tender meat. They need more variety in Tagine. Not the tastiest Moroccan food I’ve ever eaten, I will continue my search in birmingham for best Tagine yet!
