A long-awaited return to Turquoise Kitchen was well worth the wait. Had an excellent night. The service was excellent, and the quality of food was superb. My husband had the vegetarian moussaka and I had the chicken shish wrap, both delicious. The complimentary lava bread was yummy! Our server was attentive and friendly. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. 5 stars!

Fresh bread yum! We had a group of 8, including one child. It was really nice. Lots of staff and full tables all around us. This is a place we go to regularly.

Absolutely brilliant food. We have always had take aways from here and never managed to eat in. We decided to eat in this time. Got a nice Mezze platter with loads of sides. The bread we got wasn't sufficient for the amount of sides given. It'd have been great if we had more bread for free, like how other places provide. The mains were really good too. The cheese in yogurtlu kebab was a bit overwhelming but it was good nevertheless. The price was a bit high compared to other Turkish places in Birmingham not proportional to the quantity and flavour offered. Nevertheless, I can't wait to visit this place yet again and try other nice stuff. Update - visited again and had falafels! Mind-blowing taste. Love this place

Definitely one of the better Turkish restaurants in the Birmingham/Black country area. Hot and cold starters were decent. The mixed platter was good. Lamb chops were excellent. None of the meat was too chewy as it is many a time in Turkish restaurants. Bread was also soft and fluffy. Will be returning in the near future.

Visited for the first time this evening and would definitely go back. The food was delicious! The portions are just right and the staff were really friendly. When we arrived there was quite a few parties but we didn’t wait long for our food at all! Will definitely recommend

Food 100% can’t go wrong. Came again over here today and thought to finally write a review. Consistent in taste and service. Can’t go wrong. Would come again and again. Love the food- be it chicken or lamb or vegetarian. Absolutely moist and tender meat. And to add cherry on top- staff are welcoming - warm and most importantly smily. I would highly recommend this place.

My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The food was very nice and that’s hat stopping me giving a 1 star. I really enjoyed what I had. Where it starts to go wrong was that one of my party HAD UNCOOKED CHICKEN. They offered to cook it more which thy did but she didn’t want to eat anymore anyway. When I told the staff about the issue the language barrier became an problem. WHAT THEY DID NEXT WAS AN INSULT. They split the bill so that bad chicken meal was separate and put a 5% discount which came to 60p SIXTY PENCE. I’d rather pay it. Told them that the GENEROUS discount wasn’t enough, which she wasn’t having. Then they went away for a while. The guy that I originally served us came back and sorted the whole mess out. Have us a valid discount and apologised. Asking for a discount isn’t something I do very often but UNCOOKED chicken is just a no.
