We chose to come here for a very rare child free date night, after a recommendation. We have been disappointed with different curry houses in the past but this was the opposite! I had rang in advance to make a reservation however it wasn’t needed, we arrived at 20:20 on a Sunday evening and there were only one other couple in. We were greeted shown to our table and served our drinks straight away as well as a pickle tray and poppadoms. It was a short wait for our starters and again a short wait for mains and sides all the food was gorgeous and although this was a 20 min drive from our house and have closer options would no longer choose to go anywhere else! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Having booked a table by telephone just a little while earlier one evening recently we arrived on foot to be courteously greeted and lead to our table. My sister, who lives in the village, had always assumed that this was a small place. How wrong she was. There was more than enough space for many diners. Any way, after ordering our drinks, mine being a chilled Kingfisher beer in a beautiful glass, I ordered onion bhajis as a starter and the garlic chicken curry prepared at the heat of a vindaloo at my crazy request. And it was spicy hot. Just the way I like it. Throughout the menu we were served by very friendly and efficient waiters and we left fully satisfied. In fact, my sister and her partner were so pleased that, after I had moved on to my next destination, they returned for a repeat performance.

Have been going here for years and always ends up being our meetup for a meal out. Owners and servers are lovely, able to give great recommendations on the food and drink pairings, very accomodating to specific diet requirements. All in all, highly recommend it!

Chicken shashlic.... made with barbecue sauce!? Not good. Tasty but not an Asian dish. Proper American style barbecue taste.. a let down. The Indian pale ale was nice though.
