What a breakfast. I had the medium size and left out the black pudding, beans and hash browns. Good job I did because I struggled to eat everything on the plate. Glad I did not have the large breakfast. brilliant price and lovely people. I have instructed all of my Birmingham family to go and try it.
We visited and started off well just us in the cafe ordererd 2 meals and a sandwich. Shortly after 3 lads came in and ordered a take out 10 mins later 2 lads came in and sat down and all people was served before us. Food took 30 mins to come and still was missing the Irish bread (came undercooked) Then we asked for the extra toast we ordered and was told its coming by this time we had eaten our breakfast and I can't call it toast but warm bread arrived w I asked for it to be cooked a little more and then when it came it was almost thrown on the table and no apologie. I seen the other reviews and must of been a different cafe we visited today. The lady who originally served us was nice but when you serve people that arrive 10 mins and 15 mins after we arrive and still don't bring all our food at the same time i think its poor. All I would say if you keep someone waiting 30 plus minutes for food and you serve drinks straight away and then have the issues we have had askingnto pay for the extra drink wasn't the best way to end the experience.
Excellent cafe well worth the visit. I noticed this care on when driving along the Bristol rd and wanted to give it a try. I had the spicy chicken burger and my partner had the Irish fry. Both were fantastic, the quality of the breakfast items was really high, lashford sausages, vine tomatoes and very tasty hash browns. The chicken burger came with a jerk sauce and spicy cheese which were both delicious. They also do Caribbean dishes which we will try when we go back next time.
Cafe sol is one of the best Cafe's I've been too, great atmosphere, family run and fantastic food and drinks. Massive variety of food from a full English (great portions) to little items such as porridge and even Vegan options, all great prices. I would 100% recommend to either eat in or ordering to eat in the comfort of your own home. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and cater to all requirements without any hesitation. I'm definitely going to be a regular and will order both delivery and to eat inside. Great job, very very satisfied.
