Breakfast here wasnt great. Semi cooked mushrooms and tomatoes. Could have put a little more love into it. If I was a chief , id never serve it that way.

Had an excellent vegetarian breakfast, all items were hot which was quite surprising as breakfasts at spoons can be hit and miss. It came in less than 10 minutes even though it was quite busy. Also had a couple of cups of good quality coffee in total for a little over £5, really can't complain it's brilliant value for money!

Just had a lovely meal at the Broken Bridge in Pontefract. Not really a Wetherspoons girl but I think that just changed. Had a lovely meal for £10 the small plates deal on a Monday. Love that it celebrates the history of Pontefract and service was awesome. Thanks Ethan! You can also play darts and one arm bandits machines if you want. Thank you. You changed my opinion!!

The broken bridge is a nice cosy wetherspoons pub with an outside seating area. There is an extensive range of beers lager and cider including six hand pulled cask conditioned real ales some i have not seen before, the ramsgate gadds she sells seashells was particularly good. The ones we sampled were in excellent condition. The staff are very friendly and efficient the service was quick despite the pub being very busy. I will definitely come back next time i am in the area.

Rather a longer wait for breakfast than i expected, but most of the food warm except for the beans. I had a traditional breakfast with mushrooms and hot drinks for a little over a fiver. Nothing exceptional about the building from the outside, however, deceptively large inside with a small beer garden.

There are some times when service is so poor it become samusing! Wasn't busy but the service was so slow could have brewed my own! No guest real ale so settled for Abbot. Abbot is fine bit nothing special. Haven't been in a spoons in years. Are they are this poor? I hope so! Maybe they might start closing!!!

Can't beat Spooners for a cheap bit of decent grub and a drink. Fast service, table service of you use the app. Friendly staff and always a good atmosphere. Love it.

Went in for breakfast and it wasn’t very busy at the time. It took 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive and half an hour for two Full english’s. When they did arrive two out of the three hash browns were freezing cold in the middle and clearly undercooked. The toast was all burnt. I ordered a medium breakfast and got a spoonful of beans and that was it. Overall the majority of the food was luke warm.

Time to find somewhere else for breakfast. My wife and myself go for breakfast on a Sunday morning when she finishes her night shift. Final straw today, first customers through the door got my order wrong, bacon looked and tasted as though it had been cooked yesterday, food cold, place looked tired and grubby, obviously cleaners more interested in stuffing their face with breakfast than cleaning will not be back anytime soon
