I stayed here Xmas eve and Xmas day whilst visiting friend's. An absolute gem of a pub,extremely well run with a proper landlord and landlady. The room was immaculate as was the pub downstairs. I didn't get chance to try the food that's for next time. Would highly recommend to anyone stopping over in Doncaster.
Held a baby shower here. The staff couldn't do enough and were so helpful. Its a lovely atmosphere and has made us want to come back and try other food off the menu.The pizzas were delicious. Thank you so much
Lovely welcoming pub with tasteful decor. Both our meals were delicious and arrived promptly. The two staff members we met were very friendly and attentive. The total came to £50, including a large wine, burger and pint deal, chicken and mushroom risotto, and a side salad.
Lovely, clean and spacious room. Staff were great, especially Holly and Amelia on what was a very busy night. Food was delicious, good menu, reasonably priced. The breakfast sandwich was superb, very tasty and filling. Lovely village location, plenty of parking too. Would stay again for sure.
Booked for a table of 18 for Sunday dinner, and the communication between the staff when organising the table & pre-orders was great. Food was delicious (especially beef brisket!) Great play area for the kids to run around too. Staff all friendly & happy. Lovely feel from the pub!
Had a fabulous day off in this wonderful village pub! New land lady and landlord doing a fantastic job Lunch was just perfect Joined the fun evening interactive quiz! Great atmosphere Had a prawn and avocado salad husband had the gammon son had Piri piri chicken burger Great food great service by Trin Chef put himself out to do their fabulous tempura prawns for us. Feel very lucky to have this great pub on our doorstep
Really great food. Relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes difficult to get a member of staffs attention to order drinks. But still had a great evening and would definitely recommend.
Lovely food, friendly staff and well furnished and decorated inside. This is a great place to visit both for a meal or a drink. The service was exceptional and a very clean place and well looked after.
Really great dining experience here yesterday! They managed to squeeze us in for a meal on one of the busiest days of the year! We were warmly welcomed by a lovely Irish lady (apologies, I didn’t get her name), the food was really great and the waitstaff were all very attentive! Brilliant surroundings. Staff are very courteous, professional and have a can-do attitude. Excellent food quality and choice as is the drinks available.
